I. RATIONALE:

DM 139, s 2016 – 2016 National Teachers’ Month, National Teachers Day and World Teachers Day
Celebration. By virtue of Presedential Declaration no. 242, s. 2011, the Nationa Teachers Month is
celebrated strating September 5 through thr World Teachers Day Celebration in October 5, making it the
longest celebration to honor more than 500,000 teachers nationwide.
Teachers’ Day is a special day of Appreciation for Teachers, and may include celebrations to honour
them for heir special contributions in a particular area, or providing quality education at all levels, or the
community in general. The whole country celebrates the role of teachers play in providing quality education at
all levels. This enables children and adults in all ages to learn to learn to take part in and contribute to their
local community and global society as they play a part in and contribute to their local community and global
society as they play a great role in building up he characters of pupils and shape them to become ideal
citezens.
In order to show appreciation to teachers, we have the Teachers Day for Banga Cluster both
Elemnetary and Secondary.

II. OBJECTIVES

BANGA CLUSTER TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION aims to:

1. Give teachers heartily tribute for their efforts of making our and nation’s future.
2. Give empahsis on the importance to teachers in one’s life.
3. Pay respect to teachers.

III. PERFORMANCE REQUIRMENTS


a. 100% attendance of teachers
b. All activities be undertaken
c. All paticipants will paricipate in teachers day celebration
