TITLE OF THE ACTIVITY: Lambukay Integrated School Adopt-A-School Program Cum School-
Based Management (SBM) Orientation/Seminar to Ebenezer
Elementary School

I. RATIONALE:

Teachers play a crucial role in improving the quality of teaching and learning
process. Good teachers are vital to raising student achievement. Hence, enhancing teacher
quality ranks foremost in the many educational reform efforts toward quality education.

To complement reform initiatives on teacher and school quality, it is vital to

improve, update and develop the School-Based Management (SBM) of Ebenezer Elementary
School.

SBM as provided by RA 9155 is also legitimized the empowerment opportunity of

the school heads and teachers in improving the schools. It is also mandated by DepEd orders
and Memoranda, to conduct SBM validation. Hence, it its vital and important to be trained
first about the basics of SBM validation.

In line with this, Lambukay IS will conduct an Adopt-A-School Program Cum School-
Based Management (SBM) Orientation/Seminar to Ebenezer Elementary School. This is to
equip the teachers of Ebenezer ES about the documents needed for the SBM validation, and
all other preparations needed for their District and Division validation.

II. OBJECTIVES:

This Lambukay Integrated School Adopt-A-School Program Cum School-

Based Management(SBM) Orientation/Seminar to Ebenezer Elementary School
aims:

1. To equip the teachers with skills in planning, managing, evaluating and

preparing for school-based management.
2. To assess the current level of SBM practice of Ebenezer Elementary
School.
 3. To develop confidence among Ebenezer ES teachers on facing the
challenges during the preparation and conduct of SBM validation.

III. DATE AND VENUE:

This will be held on April 23, 2021 at 8:00 AM, at Enebezer ES, Banga, South
Cotabato.
