Islamic Unity Students as one of the agents of change to contribute to realizing Golden

Indonesia 2045
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wa wabarakatuh.
Peace be upon you, everyone! The honorable juries, all of my lovely friends, and all of the
audience
First of all, let us thank to Allah SWT who always given health, blessing, and salvation for all
of us so that we can gather in a place that hopefully will be in His grace and protection.
Secondly, may sholawat and salam for our Prophet Muhammad SAW who always give
goodness in the world.
Let me greet you all first. Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! How are things going?
Hopefully you guys are doing well, and let me introduce myself. So, I got named Nazwa Alifia
Khairunisa, and because of my standing here, I was given the opportunity to discuss
something that I think is very interesting because we will discuss the future. But before that,
I would like to say thank you for having me here for this amazing event and joyful day, and of
course to all relevant parties too who have given me the opportunity to speak here.
You guys already know about the Golden Age of Islam, right? According to the belief of the
government, our beloved country, Indonesia, will experience a golden age in 2045. You’re
curious, right? Let’s get to the topic!
Indonesia in 2045 is a historic moment. Why? That’s because in 2045, Indonesia will be one
hundred years old or one century old. In that year, Indonesia targeted becoming a developed
country equal to a superpower country. The government’s aim in forming this movement is
none other than to invite the public, especially the younger generation, to contribute to the
process of realizing this big dream.
Another reason why the golden Indonesia of 2045 is so historic is because the explosion of
births, which is expected to explode in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic situation, is
something that needs special attention. Babies born in that year will become residents of
productive age in 2045. Of course, we all don’t want babies who will reach their productive
age in 2045 to just be unemployed. We must be able to produce children today who will
reach a productive age in the future with good provisions, which will support the country’s
economic development. If not, there will be more unemployment in Indonesia, and crime
and poverty rates will increase.
But why is the younger generation being intensified to participate in this super duper mega
plan?
Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy said the
generation that will realize Indonesia Emas is the younger generation, especially those
currently studying at tertiary institutions. Today’s young generation is Indonesia’s human
resources, which will determine Indonesia’s progress in the future.
To welcome this golden age, all elements of the nation, including the younger generation,
have a responsibility to prepare the Indonesian people to become stronger and move
forward.
Because we are still students, we can help with this plan through the education sector. With
colors and ways of Islamic unity.
The Unity of Islam is engaged in education, da’wah, and social affairs. Not only the teachers
are moving, but we also have to move!
In the field of education, as students, apart from studying diligently, having dreams, and
being productive, we must also explore our own potential. There is no human who does not
have potential. Recognizing potential needs to be done so that you can develop it and be
more ready to work. You can stay away from jobs that don’t suit your interests. Thus,
satisfaction with your career journey will increase. That way, the quality of human resources
in Indonesia will improve, and the hopes of a Golden Indonesia will be realized.
Next, the field of da’wah. Da’wah can be regarded as a field of excellence in permanent
institutions. The school must have implemented a seven-minute lecture program for
students. Surely you are wondering, Why do you have to study da’wah now? Why not later
in college? You see, during adolescence, we are prone to emotional and mental instability.
People say their blood is in turmoil, looking for identity as teenagers. Therefore, the world’s
youth is one of the most important objects of study to produce a focused and qualified
young generation. As agents of change, it is hoped that with this seven-minute lecture,
students can bring about good change, especially for themselves and, in general, for society.
The majority of Islamic unity schools hold the PLKJ program as a graduation requirement,
right? Well, this is where students will be deployed to the community, one of whose goals is
to preach. If you are used to lectures lasting seven minutes, then when preaching in front of
the community, you will feel used to it.
And finally, social In the social sector, several institutions have been formed under Persis,
such as the Community Zakat Center, which has established schools. The social activities are
also very diverse, such as recitation, distribution of takjil, khitan, and many others. And
under the leadership of the respective regional youth leaders, these activities appear to be
carried out regularly every year. Of course, every year, it’s not just those people who do it;
we youth also contribute as much as possible to community activities, as mentioned.
Teenagers, as agents of change, are believed to be able to bring real change to society. The
teenagers are also believed to be able to open their eyes to the public about how they
follow the flow of modernization. Do it gradually, starting with yourself, then family, friends,
and then the community. Show them how Islamic unity education faces the modernization
era without losing our status as Muslims. In the future, there will be mutually beneficial and
harmonious reciprocal relations between youth and the community, which will create
harmony, comfort, mutual support, mutual trust, and good communication.
The conclusion that can be drawn from my discussion this time is that the role of young
people as agents of change is actually very broad, not just conveying aspirations but also
being able to make a real contribution, whether it’s in school or institutional activities as well
as community activities. The fields of education, da’wah, and social affairs in Islamic unity
are very continuous. Before starting da’wah, we must first know the knowledge by studying
hard, learning new things, and so on until we really understand, and then the knowledge is
disseminated through preaching. Don’t just convey knowledge, or you will get hurt. Start
preaching with a seven-minute lecture.
The key to being able to do that is to not be afraid to try. Failure is common in achieving
success. Make failure a form of self-improvement. Through failure, there will be many
lessons that you can learn. You will know which one is best for self-potential development.
The proverb says, Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working
together is a success. We must move together to realize this national dream.
No prefix exists without an ending. Therefore, I will end my presentation here.
If my words or choice of speech were not pleasing to the audience, I would like to express
my deepest apologies. I hope that all the audience members can take the good things from
me and remove all the bad things from my speech.
Thank you for the time and attention that have been given.
