TASK PERFORMANCE: Land Transportation Management Practices


Instructions:
1. Work with your team to accomplish the following:
• Conduct research about the generalized management practices and operational standards
that are being implemented both for road and rail transport. You may visit the websites of
transportation companies and call them when necessary.
• Submit a written output printed in a short bond paper containing the following:
o Title page
o Operational standards (Refer to the road transport performance indicator or quality
parameters of train services for the basis of questions that will be asked for this section.)
o Management practices (Include if there are differences in the mass transport market and
tourist market when it comes to management practices.)
o Group assessment of the land transport provider’s management practices and operational
standards.
o Management suggestions/solutions.
o References used (latest should be at least the year 2017).
o Follow the below text formatting:
- Font: Calibri - Font Size: 11
- Margin: 1.0” all sides - Spacing: 1.5”
2. A PowerPoint presentation containing an overview of your research is also required in this activity to
encourage the audience to ask questions and conduct an open discussion. This will be presented by
week 9.
3. Your group will be graded based on the following rubric:
