Destination - Region: IV-A CALABARZON
Capital : Imus
Climate: In Cavite City, the wet season is overcast, the dry season is partly
cloudy, and it is hot and oppressive year round. Over the course of the year,
the temperature typically varies from 76°F to 93°F and is rarely below 72°F or
above 96°F.

People's Park in the Sky is located in a highland section of Tagaytay. It is the
former Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos' retirement home. It provides
a breathtaking perspective of Taal Volcano, the Philippines' smallest volcano.
• Taal Volcano
It is an exquisite volcano that straddles the provinces of Cavite and Batangas.
It is located within Taal Lake, which is part of the Taal Volcano, which
contains Taal Crater Lake.
• Imus Cathedral
This tourist attraction is also referred to as the Our Lady of Pillar Cathedral
This has a ceiling. Its historic significance is evidenced by its structure and
priceless antiques. It's an ideal location in Cavite, especially on October 12th,
when locals enjoy fiestas in honor of their patron saints.
• Pico De Loro Mountain
Pico De Loro Hiking Trail is a 9.7-kilometer lightly frequented point-to-point
trail with a waterfall near Maragondon, Cavite, Philippines. Hiking, camping,
and backpacking are the most popular activities on the trail.
• Malibiclibic Falls
Three rivers merge from a 100-meter cliff beneath a grassland to form
Malibiclibic Falls. The water cascades into a large catch basin, which is
convenient for a refreshing dip.

Gastronomy • Bacalao – it's a traditional salted cod fish meal that can be found in every
Cacitenean home. It's cooked with dried codfish that's been soaked in water
overnight to make the meat easy to shred, as well as bell peppers, garbanzo
beans or chickpeas, potatoes, and onions.
• Tamales- One of the most favorite delicacies of Cavite City and bread filling
by pure blooded Caviteno. It is made of ground peanuts and galapong that is
steamed and wrapped in banana leaves.
• Kilawin- It's made of grated green papaya cooked in vinegar with grilled
mashed pancreas and chopped librillo of cows.

This is the kind of place that a gourmand, an adrenaline junkie, or a peaceful
visitor would enjoy. Solenad I and Solenad II are two buildings within this
complex that offer a variety of eateries and retail businesses in a tranquil
lakeside setting. Bird viewing at the Bird Sanctuary, riding at the biking trails,
sports at The Fields, wakeboarding at Republic Wakepark, and even just
walking or jogging along the tree-lined streets are some of the other
activities available in the neighborhood. It also includes a hotel, Seda Hotel,
within its neighborhood, which offers guests a comfortable and convenient
place to stay.
• Pagsanjan Falls
The fact that this spectacular waterfall is named after the Pagsanjan
municipality, it is actually located in Cavinti, a nearby town. Tourists can
travel to the falls in tiny boats from this location. Smaller falls, natural rock
formations, and lush greenery can all be found along the journey. Tourists
might see a few monkeys if they're lucky.
• Seven Lakes of San Pablo
Originated from old tales, Laguna is the home of the Seven Lakes or Maar
Lakes that features crater lakes namely Sampaloc, Bunot, Calibato, Pandin,
Yambo, Palakpakin, and Mohicap. The seven lakes used to be craters of
ancient volcanoes nestled between Mt. Cristobal, Tayak Hill, Mt.
Kalisunungan, and Mt. Malibog.
• Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery
Declared as a National Historical landmark in 1981, Nagcarlan Underground
Cemetery is a historical and religious place dated back in the 18th century
where it was a hiding place for guerillas during World War II.

• Bahay ni Rizal
Laguna is notable as the birthplace of Dr. Jose Rizal, the country’s national
hero. A few meters away from Calamba’s town plaza is the replicated 2-story
stone house of the hero also known as “Museo ni Jose Rizal” or “Rizal Shrine

This beach is in Tingloy, Batangas' sole island municipality. It is located on
Maricaban, a fish-shaped main island. It offers a curl of powdery, barely
disturbed paradise. In this area, there are very few man-made structures.
• Calatagan Mangrove Forest Conservation Park
This location, known locally as Ang Pulo, is home to over 20 species of
mangroves, as well as a diverse range of shellfish, crabs, and other marine
life. It also attracts a diverse range of bird species, many of which nest and
stay in the area to feed.
• Verde Island Passage
It possesses the highest concentration of marine species in the Indo-Malay-
Philippine archipelago, this place is known as Batangas' marine biodiversity
hotspot.
• Fantasy World
This theme park in Lemery, Batangas would have been Philippines ’version of
Disneyland. Tourists will like the ambiance because it features instagram-
worthy sites. It contains medieval-themed castles that tourists will admire. It
features a pleasant environment, as well as well-kept grounds and a variety
of rides for visitors to enjoy.
• Aquaria Water Park
It is part of the Calatagan South Beach and is located in the municipality of
Calatagan. This is the type of location that is suitable for families, friends,
travelers, and anyone looking for a fun water adventure. There are several
swimming pools with thrilling water slides and other resort amenities where
guests can engage in water activities such as kayaking, jet skiing, banana

• Mt. Batulao

This is a 14-meter-high waterfall nestled sneakily at the foot of the Tanay
mountains, surrounded by ponds and rivers pouring through exquisite
tropical trees and plants.
• Petroglyphs
Carlos "Botong" Francisco, a National Artist and renowned muralist from
Angono, discovered the spot in 1965. It is the most ancient Filipino work of
art and a cultural heritage site dating back to the stone period. The site is
well-known for its 127 rock engravings illustrating human and animal figures.
• Pamitinan Cave
It is placed in the Sierra Madre foothills and still contains the inscription
"Viva la Independencia Filipinas" written by Andres Bonifacio and his
comrades. This is where Andres Bonifacio and eight other Katipuneros
declared their independence from Spain.
• Treasure Mountain
The most famous no-hike mountain with an effortless sea of clouds and
amazing view. This tour is perfect for camping and sightseeing with your
loved ones, families, friends, and even for solo travelers! You can choose to
simply unwind in the area or venture on various activities such as their
Obstacle Course with Spider's Web Activity, Bosay Falls Trekking, and,
Maximinus Pool Swimming.
• The Calinaw Cave
Is as caves located in Barangay Tandang Kutyo in Tanay, Rizal. It contains
different levels and chambers that tourists can explore. It is also known as a
historical site since it was used as a hideout by Filipinos during World War II.
Gastronomy • Fried Itik (native duck) – Many vendors are selling fried “itik” (native duck),
a famous delicacy in Angono, Rizal.
Ginataang Kuhol - is a Filipino snail stew made from apple snails in coconut
milk with leafy vegetables, onion, garlic, ginger (or turmeric), siling haba
chilis, bagoong alamang (shrimp paste), and salt and pepper.

Climate: The temperatures are always high. A lot of rain (rainy season) falls
in the month of: June, July, August, September and October. Quezon City has

May with an average maximum temperature of 34°C (93°F).

It's a 500-hectare island paradise with a 7.3-kilometer stretch of white-sand
beaches. It is regarded as one of the Philippines' most expensive island
resorts, with only its members having access. Horseback riding, bird
watching, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, scuba diving, and surfing are
just a few of the activities available.
• Cagbalete Island
It's a 1,600-hectare island known for its miles of white sand beach and large
sandbar that stretches out from the shoreline, especially during low tide.
Swimming, snorkeling, beach volleyball, frisbee, kayaking, island hopping,
and skim boarding are all available on the island's beaches.
• Borawan Beach
Locals report that this location has Boracay-like sand and Palawan-like cliffs,
hence the name Borawan. Nonetheless, it is a less expensive alternative to
those well-known attractions. Tourists climb the cliffs surrounding the beach
to get a panoramic view of the beach and adjoining mountains.
• Kamayan Sa Palaisdaan
For seafood aficionados, this is the ideal hideaway eatery. Customers can
expect native cuisine and a natural setting. The name comes from the
Filipino tradition of eating seafood with one's hands.
• Alibijaban Island
Alibijaban Island is a 400-hectare island off the coast of Quezon's Bondoc
Peninsula. Because of its beautiful beaches, coral reefs, and mangrove forest,
the island has become a famous tourist destination in Quezon.
• Jomalig Island
It is difficult to reach because it is one of Quezon's farthest islands. However,
compared to other beaches surrounding Manila, Jomalig's sandy shore is
more pristine for this reason. The island's laid-back ambiance, isolated feel,
and golden sand beaches are well-known. Swimming, snorkeling, and beach
hopping are all enjoyable activities.

Name of Destination: OCCIDENTAL MINDORO

Brief Description of the Country/ Geographic Location:
Destination - Region: IV-B MIMAROPA
Capital : Mamburao
Climate: The province has two pronounced seasons: the dry season from
November to April, and the wet season during the rest of the year. The
average annual volume of rainfall is 2,000 mm. Temperature ranges from
30.7 to 16.4 degrees Celsius.

Notable Places/ Tourist Spots to Visit • Apo Reef


This site is known as the world's second-largest contiguous reef system,
behind Australia's Great Barrier Reef, and is regarded as the Philippines'
number one (1) dive site. It's a 34-kilometer-long coral reef system. A short
canal separates the north and south lagoon systems. Jellyfish, turtles, white-
tip and black-tip reef sharks, manta rays, and other sea creatures can be
found here. There are several corals and aquatic lifeforms can be found.
• Inasakan Beach
This location offers an unspoiled powdery pure white sand beach and crystal
clear waters where visitors can see through the orange and blue starfish in
the water. Visitors have compared this resort to Boracay, however it is still in
its early stages of development.
• White Island
It would be a little island with remarkable swimming, snorkeling, scuba
diving, and fishing opportunities. Turtles bury their eggs on some parts of the
beach as breeding sites. Locals call this location Manadi Island, which means
"Sudden Appearance," as it is claimed to have appeared out of nowhere
decades ago.
• Ragara Beach
In Occidental Mindoro, there is a less popular and tranquil beach. It consists
of a broad swath of fine sand beach lined with palm trees. The Ragara Beach
Resort, a private resort on the beach, is a basic resort that offers nice lodging
and delicious meals. This beach is a modest paradise with complimentary
cottages, beach mattresses, and hammocks for visitors. A wonderful place to
unwind and enjoy the peace and tranquility.
• Presing Park
Presing Park is one of Occidental Mindoro's historical tourism attractions.
The Sablayenos, who heroically resisted the Moro pirates during the 1700s,
are commemorated on one of the hills here. A century-old canon and a light
beacon can be found here. Because it's an open hill, it's a great place to
watch the sunset.
• Mamburao Beach
Is one of Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro's most popular tourist
destinations. During weekends and holidays, hundreds of thousands of
people flock to its long expanse of sandy coastline.
Gastronomy • Adobong Pugita - Adobong pugita is a traditional Filipino dish from
Occidental Mindoro. This adobo is created using mature octopus that has
been cooked in a vinegar and soy sauce mixture. Garlic, onions, oil, and bay
leaves are all common flavoring elements. The octopus is marinated, rinsed,
and then tossed in a skillet with garlic and onions that have been sautéed.
The dish is then seasoned with salt and pepper before being served warm
with steamed rice on the side. The secret to success is to boil the octopus
fast, as overcooking turns it rubbery and chewy.
• Ginataang Puso ng Saging - Ginataang puso ng saging is an Occidental
Mindoro-based traditional Filipino dish. It's created with a coconut sauce and
a blend of banana blossoms (puso ng saging), sliced pork, and jalapeño
peppers. Onions, garlic, vinegar, salt, and pepper are among the other
ingredients. After the onions and garlic have softened, the banana blossoms
are added, along with the vinegar, coconut milk, and chili peppers. The
mixture is cooked until the liquid is reduced, then seasoned and served
warm, traditionally with steamed rice on the side.

Festival (kindly include date) • Dugoy Festival- January 18


The Mangyan tribe and its rich cultural traditions are featured in this festival.
Many people who come to see the location during the festivities will admire
it. Street dances, displays, cultural events, and other forms of entertainment
are held to commemorate the occasion.
• Tamaraw Festival - October
Tamaraw Festival is held in October on the island of Mindoro to promote the
conservation of this endangered species. It includes an information caravan,
exhibitions, camping, and other activities.
• Saknungan Festival – April 27-30
The display of Mindoro's cultural heritage is included in this festival. Racial
groups a Mangyan word for bayanihan is Saknungan. (the activity of people
cooperating and working together at work) Mindoro residents in their daily
routines, particularly during the palay planting and harvesting season.
• Arawatan Festival – November 11-14
“Arawatan” is a Mangyan native phrase that means "unity," "cooperation,"
and "supporting one another." This is an annual historic event in Occidental
Mindoro where people of various religious congregations, beliefs, and
political differences, varying ethnically & The usual celebration highlights
exhibition of this province's natural attractions, agricultural, coastal, and
marine products, street dancing, fairs, sports, competition, parade of
beauties, and recognition to achievers or outstanding performers of the
province.

Swimming and snorkeling are available at this location, but it is better
renowned for its amazing dive spots and exciting nightlife. Tourists come to
see the sights. During the day, explore the aquatic treasures, and at night,
party hard. There are numerous diving shops, resorts, hotels, restaurants,
and bars in the area.
• White Beach
The vast stretch of white sand beach where resorts and restaurants can be
located, it is the most popular white beach in Oriental Mindoro. Swimming,
snorkeling, jet skiing, banana boating, beach volleyball, and other activities
are available to visitors.
• Talipanan Beach
It consists of a huge section of white sand beach, crystal clear waters,
mountains, and a tranquil tropical vegetation. This site is for travellers who
do not enjoy nighttime gatherings and prefer quieter locations. It's a quieter,
more relaxed beach that's ideal for couples and families.
• Big La Laguna Beach
The Big La Laguna Beach is known as one of Oriental Mindoro's most tranquil
and quiet beaches, as well as one of the greatest tourist destinations. It
features a hidden cove with excellent white sand where valleyball and other
beach games can be enjoyed. Its waters are crystal pure and ideal for
swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving.
• Alibatan Island
Alibatan Island is a renowned tourist destination in Oriental Mindoro. This 4-
hectare island is known for its pristine sand beaches and crystal clear waters.
