AGREEMENT FOR SALE

THIS AGREEMENT is made the 19 TH day of Two

Thousand and Twenty four BETWEEN COLLINS OJUMA BARASA of Phone Number
…………………………. MALABA in the Republic of Kenya (hereinafter together called “the
Vendor” which expression shall where the context so admits include his successors,

personal representatives, nominee or nominees and assigns) DENNIS IMAILET of Phone

Number………………….MALABA aforesaid (hereinafter called “the Purchaser” which
expression shall where the context so admits include its successors and assigns) of the
other part.

W H E R E A S:
(i) The Vendor is the registered as the owner of Motor Vehicle Registration Number
KAP 047M (hereinafter called “the said motor vehicle”).
(ii) The Vendor has agreed with the Purchaser for the sale to the Purchaser of the said
motor vehicle at the price and upon the terms and conditions hereinafter
mentioned.

NOW IT IS HEREBY AGREED as follows:

1. The Vendor HEREBY agrees to sell and the Purchaser HEREBY agrees to purchase
the motor vehicle at the price or sum of Kenya Shillings Two hundred and thirty
Thousand Shillings only (KShs.230, 000/=).

2. The vendor by signing this agreement acknowledges cash of a sum of Kenya

Shillings Two Hundred Thousand Shillings only (KShs.200, 000/=) paid to Him by
way of cash on date 19.1.2024.

3. The balance of the purchase price shall be remitted into the vendor’s account
upon the issuance of the said motor vehicle’s registration logbook to the
purchaser within 1 month after the signing of this agreement.

4. The Vendor shall forward to the Purchaser:

a) a duly signed transfer form;
 b) a copy of her Identity Card; and
c) a copy of her KRA PIN certificate.

5. The motor vehicle is sold as-is-where-is, but otherwise free from all
encumbrances or prior accidents which shall remain the responsibility of the
Vendor as the Insured owner of the car prior to possession by the Purchaser.

6. IT IS FURTHER AGREED THAT any latent mechanical defects not discernible at

the time of entering into this Agreement shall remain the responsibility of the
Vendor.

7. The said motor vehicle is insured by a third party insurance cover and the
purchaser shall renew the insurance policy in terms favourable to it upon
TAKING possession of the said motor vehicle and the Vendors shall not be
liable for any damage.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF this Agreement has been duly executed by the parties hereto the
day and year first hereinbefore written.
