This internship report provides a comprehensive overview of my transformative journey at

Iqbal Sons Architects and Builders, a leading construction firm renowned for its commitment
to excellence and innovation. Over the course of three months, I had the privilege to immerse
myself in the dynamic realms of architecture and construction, gaining invaluable insights,
skills, and experiences.

The report begins with an introduction to the company, highlighting its rich heritage,
visionary leadership, and diverse portfolio of projects. It outlines my roles and
responsibilities as an intern, which encompassed assisting architects and engineers in design
conceptualization, preparing drawings and documentation, conducting site visits, and liaising
with clients and contractors.

The projects section delves into the various projects I had the opportunity to witness during
my internship, including the Army Stud Farm Overhead Water Tank and farmhouses. These
projects exemplified the firm's commitment to precision engineering, functional design, and
client satisfaction.

A discussion on skills and knowledge acquired sheds light on the technical proficiency
gained in software tools like AutoCAD and SketchUp, as well as insights into construction
methodologies, building regulations, and industry best practices. Furthermore, the challenges

From the moment I crossed the threshold of the firm, I was enveloped by an atmosphere

ventured into the intricate web of construction and architectural processes, I found myself

One of the notable projects I had the opportunity to observe was the construction of the Army
Stud Farm Overhead Water Tank. This project demonstrated the firm's expertise in

the project lifecycle. This hands-on experience not only augmented my technical acumen but

Among my primary responsibilities, my most significant contribution revolved around

AutoCAD designing. Tasked with translating conceptual ideas into tangible blueprints and
technical drawings, I spent a considerable amount of time honing my skills in this essential
software. Under the guidance of senior architects and engineers, I assisted in the development
of architectural plans, elevation drawings, and construction details using AutoCAD.

My role involved meticulously interpreting design briefs and conceptual sketches, translating
them into precise and accurate CAD drawings that served as the foundation for project
execution. Whether it was delineating floor plans for residential villas or detailing structural
components for commercial complexes, I was entrusted with the crucial task of ensuring that
every drawing adhered to industry standards and client specifications.

Additionally, I collaborated closely with the design team, offering insights and suggestions to
enhance the efficiency and functionality of the design solutions. Through iterative feedback
