NOON
“Life back then was hard. You need
to work hard for you to survive day-
to-day life. We make a living
through the salary we get from
harvesting rice and corn. Some of
us got married early because of the
difficulty of life.”
NOON
“Life was difficult back then
because we didn’t have any access
to technology. Despite the difficult
life, we were happy because life
was simple and we were very
grateful for the things that we had.”
NOON
“Even though life was difficult
back then, it seemed easier...
even lighter. Not like today, salary
is indeed high, but life is so
difficult. There is a big difference
between life before and today,
even with the
environment.”
NOON
“Before you could buy a lot with
your 100 pesos, but now it can no
longer afford much. Food has also
been more expensive. And life has
more unnecessary stuffs.”

“My hobbies used to be writing,
singing, and dancing. But I prefer
a simple life, and at the same time,
I want to finish my studies. When I
was young, my ambition was to go
abroad and see in person the
places I saw in pictures, and I
achieved that.”
NGAYON
“It is the way we live. the instilled
environment we grew up with. Views in life or
lifestyle may differ from person to person
since development and trends rapidly
change. However, views on life may change
depending on our growth and change through
experience, challenges, and life lessons we
acquire in our daily lives.”
NGAYON
“Life nowadays has much
easier access to education
unlike before. Modern
lifestyles are heavily influenced
by technology, social media,
environmental awareness and
focus on individual expression.”
NGAYON
“In this generation, some said that life is
still challenging, with many ups and
downs. You just need to " go with the
flow" and experience anything and learn
from it. Being optimistic and
hardworking helps them achieve their
goals in life.”
NGAYON
“It is based on your own, not for others.
Sometimes, we are judged by others and it
can affect us. But I believe that with your own
lifestyle, you can do whatever you want and
choose the things that align with your
preferences. You have the freedom to set
boundaries, have targets, and make choices
that reflect your preferences and shape your
lifestyle.”
NGAYON
“My perspective is simple. I believe in
enjoying life but in moderation. As a
person with many responsibilities,
especially to myself, I have to be
responsible for my decisions and
actions. I have to consider many things
before indulging in enjoyment.”
