Project Concept: Online Service Restaurant Application (Improved)

Introduction:

Our Online Service Restaurant Application (KG Restaurants) aims to provide a seamless
platform for users to browse, order, and enjoy food from our restaurant branches in the comfort
of their homes. The application will facilitate both customers and restaurant owners, streamlining
the order process, enhancing the dining experience, and offering features to increase revenue and
customer loyalty.

Key Features:

User Registration and Profiles:

 Users can create secure accounts using unique usernames and passwords.
 User profiles will store order history, preferences, and encrypted payment information for
convenience and security.

Restaurant Listings:

 Comprehensive listings of the various branches of our restaurant with general details such
as food type, menu, operating hours, location, and ratings.
 Advanced search, filter, and sort functionalities based on food, distance, ratings, price
range, delivery time, and dietary restrictions.

Menu Exploration:

 We shall have detailed menus for each restaurant branch with high-quality images,
descriptions, prices, and nutritional information.
 Ability to customize orders with options for add-ons, substitutions, and special
instructions.
 Real-time menu updates reflecting ingredient availability and dish preparation time.

Order Placement:

 Intuitive and user-friendly ordering process with clear instructions.


 Options for delivery or pickup with estimated delivery times and pickup windows.
 Ability to schedule orders for later delivery or pickup with designated time slots.

Real-time Order Tracking:

 Real-time order tracking with a visual map interface for delivery orders.
 Push notifications and in-app updates keep users informed about order status, preparation
time, and estimated delivery arrival.

Secure Payment Gateway:

 Integration with secure and trusted payment gateways for safe transactions.
 Support for multiple payment methods including credit/debit cards, and cash on delivery
with secure payment processing.

Rating and Reviews:

 Robust rating and review system with options for star ratings, written reviews, and photo
uploads to enhance credibility.

Customer Support:

 Multi-channel customer support including in-app chat, email ticketing system, and phone
support for complex inquiries.
 Integration with an AI-powered chatbot for 24/7 support, handling common inquiries and
escalating complex issues to human agents.
