I. INTRODUCTION
When it comes to engaging in video gaming, video
game controllers are one of the necessary accessories. A
controller consists of buttons, triggers, and joysticks, which
allow players to navigate and perform actions in games. By
utilizing the game controllers, players can interact with the
game world, which allows them to control the characters. One
of the key components of making video games engaging and
enjoyable for players is a controller.
The foundation of a gaming experience is the video
game controller, which serves as a connector between players
and the virtual setting. With the rapid advancement of gaming
technology, controllers have advanced significantly to satisfy
the demands of players nowadays. Modern controllers, like
DualSense, provide realistic and lifelike gameplay experiences
that tone down the barriers between reality and the virtual
world. The PlayStation 5 (PS5) controller, additionally referred
to as the DualSense Wireless Controller, is the main input
device for Sony's PlayStation 5 gaming console. It has haptic
feedback and adjustable triggers, as well as motion-sensing
capabilities. It was designed to offer an enticing gaming
experience through numerous innovative features. This paper
task discusses the most recent developments in video game
controllers, and we are going to discover how these
technological developments are influencing gaming in the
future by paying attention to appearance, functionality, and
customer satisfaction.
II. SYSTEM IMAGE AND DESCRIPTION

● Analog Joystick – The controller consists of two
analog sticks that have 360-degree movement to allow
precise control over in-game actions. It is also
equipped with a spring mechanism that will
automatically align the joystick when released.
● Control Buttons – The control buttons are necessary
in performing in-game actions. They also enable
navigation in the user interface of PS5.
● Built-in Microphone & Headphone Jack – The
built-in microphone and headphone jack will enable
the user to chat and communicate with in-game
friends.
● Create Button – The create button allows the users to
record and view their gaming experiences even after
the game. It also facilitates content creation as it
allows the users to broadcast live or stream the game.
● Integrated Speaker – The integrated speaker
improves the gameplay experience of certain games by
generating improved sound effects straight from the
controller, which gives the impression that the game is
more realistic.
● Adaptive Triggers – The adaptive triggers allow the
users to experience dynamic resistance that imitates
the feeling of interactions with in-game gear and
objects in some PS5 games.
● Motion Sensor – The motion sensor makes the user’s
gaming experience more natural by the use of the
built-in accelerometer and gyroscope in some of the
games to bring natural motion control.

task, we have the freedom to select what control system we
wanted to explore. Based on our level of interest, we opted to

latest PS5 Controller, and despite not personally owning a
PS5, and without having hands-on experience on a PS5
