Summer Programs
DATES The Calgary International Summer Program is a 4-week program for international
July 2 – 26, 2024 students interested in visiting Canada in the summer. The program is made up
of two academic courses or one academic course + ESL training with field trip
PRICE and on-campus accommodation. Academic courses are taught by UCalgary
English + One Academic Course: $4,150 faculty, and English training courses are taught by English language specialists
Two Academic Courses: $5,100 from UCalgary Continuing Education. In these intensive programs, students will
be immersed in the UCalgary campus environment, gain international academic
Application Fee: $200 experience, learn Canadian culture first-hand, and visit top destinations in and
around Calgary.

TUITION INCLUDES: Courses will be graded and include a certificate of participation.*

• Use of UCalgary library and sports facilities
• Shared on-campus accommodation
• Socio-cultural activities
• Emergency health insurance
Optional trips to the Canadian Rockies
are available for purchase.
There are two program formats to choose from:
• English + One Academic Course
Students spend 48+ hours in an ESL course and 48+ hours in
an academic course.
• Two Academic Courses
Students take two academic courses for a total of 96+ hours.
Admission Requirement
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be confident learning in an English classroom at the undergraduate level
• Must meet the Continuing Education English Proficiency Requirements
• Recommended to have taken minimum one year of degree program training in
their chosen discipline
