GUIDELINES
1. Solve the problem statements with logical, analytical, reasoning,
and innovative skills.
2. Include the Team Name, Participant Names, Email IDs, and
College Names in your submission.
3. Submit your solution in a single PDF file named
'TeamName_Analytica'. If unable to submit online, email the
solution to sbscmathsoc@gmail.com.
4. The deadline for submission is 9 PM on 9th April. Late entries will
be disqualified.
5. Limit the total size of the solutions to 3 slides (excluding the Title
slide and Thank You slide).
6. Evaluation Criteria:
- Clear and insightful analysis of product performance metrics.
- Effective data visualization in Excel.
- Professional and concise presentation in PowerPoint.

Problem Statement
Dataset: The provided dataset contains customer information
and transaction details for a retail company, including
customer demographics, purchase history, item details, and
transaction characteristics.
Company Details Dataset

Problem: The retail company aims to improve its sales and


customer satisfaction by gaining insights into product
performance. Utilizing MS Excel for analysis and MS
PowerPoint for presentation, participants are required to
address the following:

Participants should analyze product performance based on


purchase amount, category, size, color, and season. They
should identify top-performing products and categories, as
well as any trends or patterns in customer preferences and
purchasing behavior. Additionally, participants should identify
poor-performing products and categories that may require
attention or improvement.

Participants should prepare a 3-slide PowerPoint presentation


summarizing their analysis, insights, and recommendations.
The presentation should include visualizations generated in
Excel, such as charts, graphs, and tables, to support their
findings. The focus should be on actionable insights and
recommendations to improve sales and customer satisfaction
by optimizing product performance for the retail company.
