Thank you for applying to stay in the Halls on NTU campus. We have received your application
and your reference number is HA2022U2220122C. Please retain this number for future
reference.

For your application to be successfully processed, please take note the following:

1. An application fee of $16.05 (inclusive of prevailing GST) is payable and is non-refundable.

An email notification will be sent to applicants around 28 June 2022 on modes of payment
for this application fee. The submitted application is valid only when payment of the
application fee is made.

2. Ensure that your roommate (either a NTU new student or a NIE new student) submit
his/her application individually too. Please note that NIE new students (except for those
admitted to SSM, ARED and SCED) will submit their application in a separate application
exercise. Please ask your NTU roommate to do so if he/she has not submitted online by the
stipulated closing date. Otherwise, we will not be able to arrange for both of you to stay
together in the same room (subject to availability of fully vacant twin-sharing rooms). In
view of the current phased admission to Hall and room, please note that there is no
guarantee that the preferred roommate pairing will be maintained.

3. Though new students are given the choice to select either a single room or double room
(twin-sharing), air-conditioned or non air-conditioned, the allocation to the preferred
room types are subject to availability of such rooms set aside for new students, Allocation
of hall is carried out by a computerised system. You will be assigned to a twin-sharing
room if you are not successfully assigned to a single room or vice versa, unless you have
indicated in the application that you do not wish to be randomly assigned a hall place on
campus and be removed from this application.

4. Please note that successful applicants will be informed around 15 July 2022 (after 1500
hrs), however the check-ins for successful applicants will be conducted in phases and will
be announced at a later date, based on prevailing national policies and public health
