PODCAST MENYENANGKAN

Taufik: Hello everyone, let me introduce myself, my name is Muhammad Taufik Ali
Mustofa, you can call me Taufik or Ali, here I will discuss culture shock material for new
students through this simple and short podcast, of course here I am accompanied by 3 of my
friends, please introduce your names.
Yoga: Hello my name Yoga Haris Dewangga second semester from the PBI study program,
FKIP, Muria Kudus University
Dita : Hello my name Dita Safitri second semester from the PBI study program, FKIP,
Muria Kudus University
Indri: Hello my name Indri Suryani second semester from the PBI study program, FKIP,
Muria Kudus University
Taufik: Before getting into the material, how are you today?
Yoga:I’m good
Dita: I’m fine
Indri: Not bad but not good.
Taufik: Coming to the material, now that you are a student, you are no longer a student, do
you think there is a difference between high school and college? It's like a uniform, what do
you think?
Yoga: I think the comparison between the experience of using uniforms in high school and
the freedom of dress in college is very significant because using free clothing a person can
express Identity Through Clothing from the free dress culture in college, with it affecting
individuals in expressing themselves, as well as the impact on self-perception and social
relationships.
Dita: In the past, when I was in high school, when I left in the morning, I was always ready
to put on my uniform, which had to be neat, but now when I go to college, I don't think about
uniforms, but I think about what outfit I want to wear today and what I'll wear tomorrow.
Indri: The issue of clothes or uniforms doesn't surprise me because I often see college kids
wearing normal clothes, sometimes I'm just confused about what to wear.
Taufik: In my opinion, I'm not that surprised about uniforms because uniforms only show
that you're still in high school or college and regarding uniforms I don't think there's a need to
schedule any more days, if you're in high school it's already scheduled from Monday to
Friday what you have to wear, whereas in college I'm more relaxed because free to wear
whatever clothes.
Taufik: There's one more thing, in your opinion, what is the difference between giving
material and delivering assignments in high school and in college?
Yoga: I think I have some different points of view starting from when example: HIGH
SCHOOL
Tasks have very clear directions.
Instructions include specific format, length, and grading criteria.
There is usually a strict time limit for completing assignments.
College
Assignments are given with minimal direction.
Students are given greater freedom in interpreting and carrying out the assignment.
Instructions may be more general, allowing room for individual interpretation and creativity.
Dita: During lectures, the assignments given by our lecturers require us to independently find
the material ourselves, do it ourselves because we can control the grades ourselves.
Most of the tasks given are many, but the processing time is short.
Students must actively contact lecturers.
Indri: In my opinion, the differences in assignments are really very different, in high school
the assignments were detailed and of course the material had been previously provided and
had been explained, but in college the assignments were sometimes confusing and we were
required to study on our own by looking for the material ourselves.
Taufik: I was very surprised because at my previous high school we were given material and
a framework or theme of the material, then we were told to look for the material, so there
were quite clear directions. whereas in this lecture we were actually given the title of the
material and then told to find it ourselves and then present it, after that the lecturer explained
the material. Thank you for taking the time to join this podcast.
