Firmware Update Tools
Note: This is a software tool for Model D firmware upgrade. The latest device firmware is built-in.

• Environment Requirement: Microsoft Windows XP/7/8/10 with .NET 2.0 or above

Addressed Issues

1. Improved updater compatibility, now compatible with Microsoft Windows XP.

2. Improved multi-trigger behavior settable by SysEx commands

Note: Button A-440 trigger sequence will only turn on/off multi trigger, but will not change
multi trigger style.

3. New SysEx command for setting the Pitch Bend mode.

Pitch Bend mode is “settable” F0 00 20 32 00 7F 0A 0C 00 00 F7
Pitch Bend mode is “fixed” F0 00 20 32 00 7F 0A 0C 00 01 F7

“Settable” mode will make the pitch bend range settable from 1 – 12 semitones using the
SysEx commands F0 00 20 32 00 7F 0A 03 00 XX F7. Note: The pitch bend will only function in
this mode when a note is being pressed.

“Fixed” mode the pitch bend range is fixed to +/- 1 octave but the pitch bend will function even
when no note is being pressed.

4. Improved Pitch Bend range in “fixed” mode, the pitch range is now +/- 1 octave.

5. Improved indication of the A-440 startup actions.

6. Added a new Poly Chain style option for how many notes are playing.
