Coronary heart disease

is mostly the result of an unhealthy lifestyle. Diet high in fatty foods, a sedentary lifestyle with little or no exercise, and obesity are
the reasons people get this disease.

Malaria

Malaria is a deadly disease that is spread among humans via mosquito bites. It is caused by a parasite that the female Anopheles

mosquito carries and enters the human body when the mosquito bites.

Stroke

or as it is known in medical terms, cerebrovascular disease is caused when the blood flow to the brain gets interrupted. This can

happen, either due to the bursting of the blood vessel or due to blockage of the blood vessels.

The Philippine government addresses the variety of local and national health problems and issues as to HIV/AIDS cases and
tobacco-alcohol related diseases by implementing programs of awareness and promoting sports to alienate worse vices. ... These
agencies impose programs related to the prevention of the said diseases

2. How can educate the youth help in developing socially conscious ad healthy individuals
who are aware of the various global health threats and concerns?

Schools must help students fight their feelings of powerlessness by developing their sense of community and their confidence that
they can make a difference in the world. Good quality education is the foundation of health and well-being. For people to lead
healthy and productive lives, they need the knowledge to prevent sickness and disease. For children and adolescents to learn, they
need to be well-nourished and healthy.
