Be devout and you will be the most pious of people. Be content and you will
be the most grateful of people. Love for people what you love for yourself
and you will be a believer. Behave well with your neighbors and you will be
a Muslim. Laugh less, for too much laughter will deaden the heart.

Hadith 5

idolaters!” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
ًإنِّي لَ ْم أُب َعثْ لَعانًا َوإن َما بُعثتُْ َرح َم ْة
Verily, I was not sent to invoke curses, but rather I was only sent as mercy.

best?” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

To feed the hungry and to greet with peace those you know and those you
do not know.
Whoever has three qualities will have completed the faith: fairness from
yourself to others, offering peace to the world, and spending in charity even
while poor.

Lurking towards you are the diseases of the nations before you. Envy and
hatred are the razor. I do not say they shave hair, but rather they shave the
religion. By the One in whose hand is my soul, you will not enter Paradise
until you have faith and you will not have faith until you love each
other. Shall I tell you what can affirm that for you? Spread peace between
yourselves.

No one who has the weight of a seed of arrogance in his heart will enter

Verily, those who were just will be in the presence of Allah upon pulpits of
light, near the right hand of the Merciful, the Exalted, and both of His sides
are honorable. They are those who practiced justice in their judgments and
with their families and in all that they did.
Hadith 14
Verily, Allah does not look at your appearance or wealth, but rather He
looks at your hearts and actions.

The strong are not the best wrestlers. Verily, the strong are only those who
control themselves when they are angry.
The strong are not those who defeat people. Rather, the strong are those
who defeat their ego.

Every one of you is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock. The leader
of people is a guardian and is responsible for his subjects. A man is the
guardian of his family and he is responsible for them. A woman is the
guardian of her husband’s home and his children and she is responsible for
them. The servant of a man is a guardian of the property of his master and
he is responsible for it. No doubt, every one of you is a shepherd and is
responsible for his flock.

The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to
people. The most beloved deed to Allah is to make a Muslim happy, or to
remove one of his troubles, or to forgive his debt, or to feed his hunger.
That I walk with a brother regarding a need is more beloved to me than
that I seclude myself in this mosque in Medina for a month. Whoever
swallows his anger, then Allah will conceal his faults. Whoever suppresses
his rage, even though he could fulfill his anger if he wished, then Allah will
secure his heart on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever walks with his
brother regarding a need until he secures it for him, then Allah Almighty
will make his footing firm across the bridge on the day when the footings
are shaken.
Hadith 31
A servant does not cover the faults of another servant in the world but that
Allah will cover his faults on the Day of Resurrection.
Hadith 32
By Allah, I seek forgiveness from Allah and I repent to him more than
seventy times in a day.
Hadith 33
Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be

Hadith 34
The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for
each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts
with sleeplessness and fever.

Hadith 37
They said, “The one without money or goods is bankrupt.” The Prophet
said:
Verily, the bankrupt of my nation are those who come on the Day of
Resurrection with prayers, fasting, and charity, but also with insults,
slander, consuming wealth, shedding blood, and beating others. The
oppressed will each be given from his good deeds. If his good deeds run out
before justice is fulfilled, then their sins will be cast upon him and he will
be thrown into the Hellfire.
