Lying Dilemma

Your Response: For me, I won't lie and I would tell Carey the real
time and tell her to come on time and don’t be late.

Rational: As a friend, I should tell her the truth because if I lie,

she might break her trust in me if she finds out all this time
I've been lying to her. And so that she can change her
behaviour of being always late.

Relational: If they are my real friends, I know they will

understand me if I real talk them. And it’s for them, not for me
and for them to act professional by using the time of each
other. When Emerson finds out that I lied to Carey, he might
think differently about me as his friend. I know our friendship
will be stronger, because I'm telling the truth for their good.

Free: Yes, I will be responsible for the future consequences.

Because I'm the one who set them up on the date so I'll catch
them if they don't work. But as a friend I will advise them to
focus on themselves first.

Good: For me it’s real, and objectively good, because I want my

two friends to stay together. And for their relationship to
work. I want them to have a good and happy relationship.

Value: Our friendship, and I know it is important other than

anything else. Because as a friend you should tell all the wrong
things that your friends do, and don't tolerate their bad habits
or behaviour because they will get used to it until they grow up.
They will think that kind of behaviour is right because no one
tells them that what they are doing is wrong and it’s too much.
