 ‘e’ means electronic.
What do you mean by an email?

 It is a modern method of transmitting data, text files,


digital photos, and audio and video files from one
computer to another over the internet.

CREATING A GMAIL ACCOUNT
1. Go to the web
browser
and type the URL

http://www.gmail.com
in the address bar of
the
browser and press the
enter key. A screen
appears.
Click on the as shown on the screen.
Complete the First name and Last name fields. You can
move from one field to the next by either pressing the tab
key or using the mouse.
The next step is to choose a
username

User names must be unique to one person only. It is a good


idea to make it something easy for you to type and
remember. Then click

If the username has been used by someone else you need


to choose another.It gives you some suggestions but you
can choose your own. Adding numbers of nicknames may
help.
Password Fields

Choose a password that is easy to remember. Then re-


enter your password to verify that you have entered it
correctly.
