Blog Post Questions #2

1) What have I accomplished so far? (Give specific details. Include the research you have done to date.
Include sources of information you have used for research, people you have spoken to, videos you
have watched, books you are reading, etc.)
Generally, I currently still have the same amount of progress completed from before the spring break,
but I have done some more research on the programs I am using. Although when it comes to the things I
have created recently, it turns out I have a fanart problem. I noticed that I keep getting distracted by
wanting to animate and draw to different video references from my previous Pride and Prejudice
selection with using not my characters, but clone troopers from Star Wars the Clone Wars. I even went
as far as storyboarding and getting deep into developing all the concepts with one of my IB art friends. I
find it sort of funny that we took this idea so far but now it genuinely has me wondering if I should
switch over to completing that concept instead. https://youtu.be/P-pESMHRpY0?si=XZt15PYYJsvYsU0y
This song, Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold, was used for storyboarding instead of a clip from a movie,
and we used the story aspects and characters from the Cone Wars Umbara arc to produce the concept
of the AMV.

2) What have I learned? Give specific examples of your learning, whether it has been positive or
negative. Some of our best learning comes from our struggles.)
Other than being certain on producing an animation with the ToonBoom storyboarding and animation
programs and researching videos to help build my understanding using those,
(https://youtu.be/iMQZDqjnA2Q?si=MpaSAXVOAZEwnodL & https://youtu.be/iLsZquNomkU?
si=RqCBZ3iJR_6SxiuC for just a couple of the videos) I have had struggles when it comes to my changing
interests with my own characters and fanart. I might end up flipping a coin on this or getting my friends
to choose but regardless, I still have to wait until my IB art exhibition ends to finalize this decision.

3) What still needs to be done? (Create a specific list of objectives/tasks you want to accomplish over
the next two weeks. Be detailed and realistic.)
Currently, I have the one choice of the original concept or fanart in the way of all my other steps but,
regardless of the one I choose, they are both animations so the steps after would generally sill follow the
mind map, I have created. Sadly, for the next week, I am occupied by my IB art exhibition so a further
and clearer list will have to be designed after that time.

4) Attach at least 3 images of your progress into the Word Document. Add a brief caption explaining
what it is, and how it relates to your Capstone Project.
Regardless of my busy schedule, I am now posting the images on my evidence and progress page on the
website.
