opinions and information; 2) use the target language to express likes, dislikes, and
personal preferences in everyday environment; 3) understand and interpret written
and spoken language on diverse topics from diverse media.

Kailash is a responsible and well-mannered student. He arrives to class ready for the
activities. He turned in his assignments on time. He has demonstrated increased
social skills. He can work comfortably with his groupmates/ partner, especially
during group work/ dyad activities. I recommend Kailash to continue to develop
and build his vocabulary in Filipino. He can do this by using the vocabulary words
he learned in his conversations with friends, family members, etc. who can also
speak Filipino. Reading articles and watching local TV news program will also help
him enhance his vocabulary in Filipino.
