Typography design
Typography Editorial Design
Brief
To design a black and white editorial spread titled "Life
as a Typophile." Play with fonts, sizes, and layout to tell
the story through typography alone. The content will be
provided separately. Let the type be the art, celebrating
the world of typography for fellow enthusiasts.
CONCEPT
The title itself will be a typographic playground -
different fonts, sizes, or layouts for maximum impact!
The body text will switch to a clear, easy-to-read style
with important subtopics in bold for quick navigation.
The content provided will be seamlessly integrated into
this format.
OUTCOME
My design for "Life as a Typophile" got a big thumbs up
from my mentor! It was on the department notice
board, reached a wider design audience. Exciting to see
it spark some conversations among fellow designers!
Project 3
Brief
To design a protest poster for dissent. Use a single,
impactful illustration to represent the act of speaking
out. Combine it with bold, clear typography for a strong
message. Avoid using photos - let the illustration and
words be the voice of dissent. Keep the color palette
limited for visual focus.
CONCEPT
I’ve created a comical first-person view illustration of
limbs with body hair. Playful text messages will be
scattered around for easy reading. Limited color palette
keeps the focus on the message.
OUTCOME
Our body-positive poster scored big! Fellow designers
loved it, and putting it around campus spread the
message far and wide. Seeing people post it on social
media, proudly embracing their body hair, was a truly
rewarding outcome.

inhaler. Emphasize its revolutionary design with clean
visuals and messaging. Target the poster's style
(modern, playful, etc.) to your audience. Consider
adding a impactful tagline. This poster will kick off the
marketing campaign for this exciting new device.
CONCEPT
Playful and Active! We'll use a pastel color palette to
create a calming and approachable vibe. Visuals will
showcase the inhaler's innovative design seamlessly
integrated into an active lifestyle. Think someone
playing with a puppy or enjoying a game of tennis! This
will target people who manage breathing difficulties
while staying active. The poster will kick off the

into your active life.

Kancheepuram silk
saree weavers
Graphic Design Editorial Design
Brief
To design a photo book that celebrates Kancheepuram silk
saree weavers! Stunning photographs are key - showcase the
intricate details of the sarees, the weaving process, and the
artisans themselves. Layout should be clean, letting the photos
breathe. Keep the text minimal and easy to read with a clear
typeface. Photos provided separately, captions can add
context. The final product should be a visually striking tribute to
this time-honored craft.
CONCEPT
This photobook envisions Kancheepuram silk sarees and their
weavers as threads in a visual tapestry. Stunning close-ups will
capture the intricate details of the sarees, while photos of the
weaving process and weaver portraits showcase the human
element behind the craft. Clean layouts and minimalist captions
will ensure the photographs remain the focus. Subtle textured
accents inspired by saree designs can be added for a touch of
elegance (optional). Short, impactful quotes from the weavers
will add a personal touch, creating an emotionally engaging
tribute to this time-honored tradition.
OUTCOME
Our photobook proved to be a success story. Placed
strategically in coffee shops and office break rooms, the
photobook sparked a newfound appreciation for
Kancheepuram silk sarees among working professionals. This
exposure served as a gentle reminder of India's rich heritage,
encouraging the working class to actively support these dying
art forms.
