Quest Circles

The following steps are not mandatory, but may help if this is one of your
first calls. Please stick to the format as much as you can.

Step 1: Circle Opening (First 5-10 mins)

1. Opening: Open with a welcome and the agreements.

2. Intention: One of the co-hosts talks about the theme, the quest and what is
the intention of the quest circle for the upcoming 3 months.

3. Centering: Do a quick meditation / grounding exercise (ideally from the

quest) to help everyone arrive.

4. (Agreements): If this is the first 2 calls you have with your mastermind
please paste the following bullet points in the zoom chat:

Quest Circle Ground Agreements:

● What is shared here stays here

● We respect our differences and celebrate our uniqueness
● Please be non-judgmental of the shares of others
● Be concise so that everyone has an equal opportunity to share
● Only one person to share at a time
● We do not coach each other unless it is part of the format and the host has
specifically created space for it
● This is a global, non-political space
● Keep microphones off while others are sharing
● Keep your cameras on where possible, this is a place where we see each
other

Guidelines for engagement:

● This space is for sharing our experience with the quest

● If you want to share please raise your virtual hand
● Be concise so that everyone has an equal opportunity to share
● Use the chat if you want to comment or connect
Step 2: Quest-related share and / or Open Circle Share (40 min)

NOTE: At this point, if more than 12 people are on the call, you can use the
“Breakout rooms” feature on Zoom to break attendees into virtual rooms of 3-4
attendees.

1. Quest Content Recap: Pick one part of the quest that you’ve chosen as
content for this week and remind people of some of the core distinctions of
that lesson. Use any exercise from the quest to open the floor to discussion
and sharing.

2. Ask attendees to use the raise hand feature, no and take turns.

3. Time attendees shares - approx. 2 min per person - depending on how

many people are on the call. Build onto each others ideas.

4. If you need to use prompting questions, you can use any of the
following prompting questions:

Suggestions for Quest-related questions:

Q. What has been your biggest insight from the quest so far?
Q. What action(s) are you committing to as a result of what you’ve learned?
Q. What’s a roadblock you’re currently facing?

General questions:

Q. What are you grateful for at the moment?

Q. What are you excited about?
Q. What do you hope to accomplish in your life from doing this quest?
Q. What would be great?

● Notice that the quality of your quest circle highly depends on the questions
you ask. Take the quest as guiding post to help you choose powerful
questions and hold space for each other.
● Always stay in service of the group!
● If you want to vote for anything democratically, vote by asking who has
objections, not who is for it, so that all objections can be heard before
anything is decided. Voting is not always better, especially in the first
sessions people need your guidance and leadership.
Step 3: Closing + Next Steps (5-10 minutes)

1. Appreciate and acknowledge everyone for showing up fully.

2. Let them know when the next quest circle is going to be and the details.
3. After the call, send reminders in the relevant Telegram group.
