EXAMPLE OF HOW CAN
WE APPLY THE LESSONS
AS ADOLESCENTS
As adolescents, we can learn valuable lessons from
older individuals by inquiring about their secrets
and experiences, which can help us adopt some of
their lifestyle choices and habits that promote
longevity.
It's important to never give up on the things that bring us
joy and fulfillment. I have a personal experience with this.
My mother doesn't support my passion for art because she
thinks it won't pay off financially and it's just a waste of
time. However, I refuse to let her opinions discourage me.
I've decided to continue pursuing my dream of being an
artist and never give up on it, regardless of what others
may think.
As an adolescent, to keep my mind sharp, we should
stay open to learning from those around us, whether
they are peers, teachers or family members. We
should embrace challenges as opportunities for
growth.
As adolescents, we easily get distracted when we try to do
things for school, like studying or doing homework because
we feel like it takes too much time. We tend to hold our
phones and then forget about the things we need to do
because our attention is diverted to our phone and we would
not notice the time. So if we want to do the things we need
to do even though we do not like doing it, we should put
aside anything that may cause distractions. Because without
distractions, we can be productive in what we aim to do
We adolescents often stay up late playing games, reading, or doing
schoolwork and tend to eat unhealthy snacks like sodas, chips, and
sweets when hungry. These habits are not healthy; staying up late is not
necessary as we can enjoy activities during the day. We should limit
screen time and choose healthier foods like homemade meals, fruits,
and vegetables. These practices contribute to mental clarity and overall
fulfillment, laying a strong foundation for a purposeful and meaningful
life.
Most adolescents have a habit of just lazing around all day with their
phones or doing unnecessary stuff and hurrying about some stuff, like
wanting to finish a task so quickly or wanting to grow old much faster.
Instead of doing these things, we should form good habits by setting
goals, managing our time, prioritizing tasks, and being disciplined.
Living an unhurried life involves finding balance, taking breaks, and
enjoying the moment without rushing.

We adolescent first establish a routine of regular,

We as adolescent we can do many

activities that uses movements such as
Radio Taiso it can be applied when we
wake up and stretch our bodies or we can
also do this when we begin our sports
game such as basketball or volleyball as a
warm-up
.
When we struggle to accept that we got a low score in
the exam, even though you study hard, rather than
being depressed about that, accept it and let it be the
fuel to study harder or find a method of studying.
This is what resilience means: we would fall down,
but we would still get up and do the battle again. As
Epictetus said, "It's not what happens to you; it's how
you react that matters." So, before anything, calm
yourself and think.
when you are in a state of doubt about how you
have been living so far and questioning your life and
purpose. Everyone has that state in their life,
whether a teenager or even an adult. The only thing
we can do is explore and discover it. It takes time,
but it will be worth it.
