Joint inspection of Shaft UT witnessed and following werlttle gbservation noted during the
inspection.
L. Percentage of elongation 5.55 not mentioned in Test report.
2. Test reference standard mentioned in MBS G03304 shall be incorporated in test reports.
3. MSTP as per MBS G03304 to be submitted for approval.
4. Nonmetallic inclusion rating to be mentioned in test reports.
5. Original HT graph to be su$mitted fcr review.
6. Alt calibration certificates of Furnace TUS (Temperature unlformity survey) to be
submitted for review.
7. Forging drawing number as per QAp clause 1.5 (a) not rnentioned in test report and CG PO.
8. Heat Treatment manufacturing standard to be submittedffreview.
9. Calibration block as per specification no. 410013-6 clause no.2.4 not avaitable, M/s CG has
to arrange calibration block as per approved procedure.
10. All the original test reports of forgings to be submitted.
11. UT test witnessed on 9 nos. shaft of heat number 4361(SMPL) as per existing blocks and
found in order.

Conclusion: All the forgings is on hold due to the above observation until further communications.
