- Visual inspection of above bend carried out after blast cleaning to ensure surface is free
of defects like surface notches, surface marks, laminations, cracks, mechanical damage
etc. Visual inspection of bend found satisfactory.
- Heat number, Bend size, Thk, Angle, Radius, Proclad Id number found marked on pipe by
low stress stamping.

- Dimension inspection of above bend carried out as per approved drawing and following
parameters verified.
- Bend layout, Bend OD, Bend ends Ovality, Bend body Ovality, Tan length, Bend Radius,
Bend Angle, Drift test gauge dimensions & wall thickness measurements. All these
parameters found in line with drawing.
- Drift test- Gauge passing test witnessed and found acceptable.
- After completion of all testing sample locations mark/ signed on bend for destructive
testing as per figure 1, Table 1 provided in MPS. Proclad to offer testing at Laboratory.
(this is applicable only for Production test bend)

step wedge block prior to start of test.

- Hydro test witnessed at test pressure 2100 PSIG for holding duration of 13 minutes as per
approved drawing & MPS requirement.
- Visual examination carried out. NO pressure drop / leakage or water seepage observed
during testing. Hydro test found satisfactory.
- Pressure gauge, chart recorder calibration verified and found within validity.
- Calibration certificate for pressure gauges, chart recorder and water quality certificate
reviewed & endorsed.
- Hydro test report along with chart reviewed & endorsed.

be added in the identification. Rest marking found inline.
- Temporary rust preventive applied and end cape checked for 20 bends verified and found
satisfactory. Balance 7 bends rust preventive application & end cap provision to be
completed & re-offer. Rust preventive validity checked found with in valid date.
- Packing to be offer for inspection.
