CONVERSION

Unit conversion is the process of changing the way you express a measurement from one unit to
another. For example, you could convert centimeters to inches, or kilograms to pounds. It's
basically like translating between different measurement languages.

VOLUME
Converting volume between liters (L) and milliliters (mL) is quite straightforward because 1 liter
is equal to 1000 milliliters.

Here's how to tackle conversions in both directions:

Liters to Milliliters (L to mL):
 Multiply the number of liters by 1000.
In other words, move the decimal point in your liter measurement three places to
the right.

For example, to convert 2.5 liters to milliliters:

2.5 L * 1000 = 2500 mL

Milliliters to Liters (mL to L):

 Divide the number of milliliters by 1000.
 Conversely, move the decimal point in your milliliter measurement three places to
the left.

For example, to convert 4800 milliliters to liters:

4800 mL / 1000 = 4.8 L

Remembering the Conversion:

A helpful trick to remember the conversion is that "milli" means one-thousandth. So, a milliliter
is 1/1000th of a liter. Therefore, converting from liters to milliliters requires multiplying by 1000
(to get all those thousandths).

TEMPERATURE

Temperature conversion refers to the process of changing a temperature measurement from one
unit to another. There are various temperature scales used around the world, with the most
common being:

Celsius (°C): Widely used globally, with 0°C being the freezing point of water and 100°C being
the boiling point.
Fahrenheit (°F): Primarily used in the United States, with 32°F being the freezing point of water
and 212°F being the boiling point.
Kelvin (K): The SI unit of temperature, based on absolute zero (the point where all molecular
motion stops). 0 K is equal to -273.15°C.
PRESSURE

Pressure conversion involves changing the way you express a pressure measurement from one
unit to another. There are many pressure units used in various fields, with some of the most
common being:

Pascal (Pa): The SI unit of pressure, representing one newton per square meter (N/m²).
Atmosphere (atm): A unit based on average atmospheric pressure at sea level. (1 atm ≈ 101.325
kPa)
Millimeter of mercury (mmHg): Used in medical fields for blood pressure measurement. (1
mmHg ≈ 0.133 kPa)
