Recommendations
The team recommends that:
1. ways and means to
eliminate the noxious odor
in the Physics Laboratory be
looked into
2. The Science classes’
Laboratory schedule be
maximized to provide
students with greater
opportunities to enhance
their investigatory skills
Actions Taken
 Implemented
Regular inspection to Science laboratories is conducted
using a laboratory cleanliness tool in order to qualify the
laboratory management. The laboratory-in-charge turns on
the exhaust fans and/or opens the windows daily to let the
air circulate in the room. A laboratory cleaning schedule is
also followed.

 Implemented
A new laboratory schedule is drafted and followed. The
minimum number of laboratory activities was increased
from five to seven. Research subject is also included in the
class program of the homogenous group of the third and
fourth year level.

An orientation day is scheduled to let the students become
aware of the system being followed in reserving,
borrowing and returning the materials. The class is
divided to fourteen groups with three to four members
each. Each member is assigned to a particular task thus
enhancing greater participation during group activities.

Three-Year Acquisition Development Programs for
Science Laboratory, Technology and Livelihood
Education Laboratory and Computer Laboratory were
drafted to ensure upkeep and upgrade of laboratory
materials.

 Implemented
A Professional Development Program for Science teachers
and Laboratory-In-Charge was drafted and implemented.
 The laboratory custodian together with the Science
teachers attended seminars on first aid, laboratory
management and techniques.
 The Science Area invited resource speakers from
the neighboring Science schools on how to
conduct investigatory and scientific research.
