With high respect to the administration and staff of Pasacao National High School, Pasacao, Camarines Sur

headed by the very dynamic and supportive School Head, Maam Melody Dominguez Aguirre. It was almost two

years now when the conceptualization of ALS Senior High School in the entire School Division of Camarines Sur came

into birth last SY 2021. It was then vague and hard to figure out how to start with its curriculum offering. Partner

school, stakeholder, funds and pertinent documents needed on how to begin where been considered. But, the

challenge was taken into consideration. It started with a mission posted to SDO Camarines Sur by the Regional ALS

Focal Person Mr. Ricardo M. Tejeresas that emulates all the aspiration to secure all the passers and completers of

ALS Junior High School will be enrolling soon to a more secure curriculum – in ALS SHS way. With the

conglomeration of ideas and same aspiration of Mrs. Maria Teresa P. Tipay, ALS Teacher of Pasacao district, the

open-hearted and an essence of a true public servant - ex-mayor of Pasacao and now the 2 nd district Board Member

Nińo A. Tayco, the rest of Sangguniang Bayan of Pasacao during his term and other DepEd Division/District

personnel, dream of hosting and establishing the ALS Senior High School piloted at this remarkable partner school.

To note,they were only few from among the key persons beyond its creation.

With the pilot opening of Pasacao National High School ALS SHS, eight (8) other partner schools also joined

the offerings of the said curriculum in SDO Camarines Sur at that same year. There were ups and down along its

journey, teachers’ designation to handle ALS SHS subjects, limited budget for its operation, classroom and other

concerns were treated into aspirations and adrenaline booster for its growth. Time passed, support from DepEd

Central Office, Regional Office V, SDO Camarines Sur, ALS Division Office and LGU Pasacao - things went right and by

Gods’ grace this School Year 2023 will mark the 1 st ALS SHS Graduation. With much pride and salute to all the

persons beyond the success of this individuals – I thank you all. These Graduates will begin their new journey in life,

ALS teachers, ALS volunteers you’ve been part of this, I witnessed all your sacrifices and LOVE for our ALS SHS

learners..salamaton na marhay! To all the proud parents, thank you for all the support, likewise to husband, wives

and children of this graduates – you are real inspirations to them.

ALS SHS GRADUATES of Pasacao National High School, ALS SHS 1 st batch of graduates, I am personally

overwhelmed by this endeavor. I do believe you have something more to achieve in the near future, strive more to

achieve your dreams, work for it and make a difference in your life, be an inspiration to others. But, please don’t

forget to go back after ten years maybe – help Pasacao, help Camarines Sur. His/herstory and sacrifices had just paid

off -tears before, now turned into happiness…cherish your success, this is not the end but rather a new chapter in

your life as the saying goes “Basta ALS Graduates, Matibay, Matatag! #allinlahatsaALS” Mabuhay po kamo gabos
