RULES & CRITERIA FOR FOREIGN MEDICAL GRADUATES FOR CRMI REGULATION 2021

1. The Foreign Medical Graduates who are willing to start the internship in NCT of Delhi
and are resident of Delhi having Aadhar Card and Passport of Delhi only, are required
to submit the attached Performa latest by 10th April, 2024 before 04.00 PM in the
office, to be considered for Internship Training and the application are accepted only
on pro rata basis, based on total no of seats available in Medical Colleges in NCT of
Delhi.

2. Delhi Medical Council will scrutinise all the applications and shall prepare Merit list
considering CRMI Regulations 2021 (based on criteria mentioned below) and the
same will be published on the website of Delhi Medical Council

3. The candidates who make up the Merit List will be eligible to apply for provisional
registration with Delhi Medical Council online; within 10 days from publication of
such list and link to apply for provisional registration (Foreign Medical Graduates) is
active on our website www.delhimedicalcouncil.org after the publication of such list.

4. The selected candidates have to join the internship programme immediately but not
later than 10 days from the date on which final list is uploaded on official website of
Delhi Medical Council and if candidate is not able to join the allotted medical
college/institution within 10 days, the seat will be considered vacant and will be
allotted to next eligible candidates as per Merit List, who meet the necessary criteria.

5. Delhi Medical Council has the right to reject any application in case it doesn’t fulfil
the criteria or the applications received are more than the seats available in medical
colleges in Delhi.

CRITERIA FOR PREPARING MERIT LIST

Merit List: Candidates who are resident of Delhi (Passport & Aadhar Card as Address
proof) and have completed their (10+2) from CBSE or Equivalent Board in Delhi.

Merit list will be prepared based on NBE score of Screening Test Result obtained by
the candidate and in case more than one candidate with same score, merit will be
determined on the basis of following criteria:-
 a. Candidate who has secured higher percentage in subjects of Physics,
Chemistry, Biology (PCB) marks in (10+2) examinations.
b. Candidates who has secured higher percentage in subject of Biology marks in
10+2 examinations
c. Candidate who is older.

Standalone PG institutes imparting DNB training under DNB-PDCET and non-teaching

hospitals are not entitled to conduct Compulsory Rotatory Medical Internship after
the publication of the Public Notice from National Medical Commission dated 21st
September, 2022

The amount of stipend to be paid to the interns is to be decided/fixed by the

appropriate authority and is solely at the discretion of the concerned authorities
under which the medical college/institute is located and Delhi Medical does not bear
any liability in this regards.
