 Students search the new words in Merriam
Webster Dictionary.

C. Word Application (20 minutes)


Students use the new words in activity 2 and use
it in constructing sentences.

Activity 2: It’s Reading Time!


The teacher will provide each learner with a story. Each
learner is assigned to read one to two sentences of the
story.
During Reading
The learners are given another 20 minutes to do silent
reading.
