Working with Peer Feedback

Directions: In the space provided below respond to these questions.
What are the three things you’ll change based upon your peers’ responses? Why will you change each one?
1. The first change I’ll make is that I will make and add my thesis statement. I will make this change because a thesis
statement is needed for this type of paper. Also, a thesis statement is needed to show the claim about the findings.

2. The second change I’ll make is that I will make and add my claim. I will make this change because this paper needs
to show the connection and disagreements of the research in this field.

3. Not enough feedback to make another change.

What are three things you’ll keep despite your peers’ responses? Why will you keep each one?
1. I believe that I have established my ethos effectively and efficiently through my language and cohesiveness. I will
keep this because I feel it is already strong where it stands.

2. While Andrik suggested not to add any more examples, I will still add a few more examples to better explain the
different perspectives. I feel that in some parts of the essay I need to dig a little deeper.

3. Andrik suggested that my paper is good where it stands, however I feel that I need to organize my paper to where
the perspectives in this research are in conversation with each other.

What work do you have left to do after today to successfully complete the project?

1. Write my thesis statement.

2. Write my claim.

3. Finish writing the introduction paragraph.

4. Finish writing the conclusion paragraph.

5. Check the prompt and grading Rubric to make sure that I answered all the questions.
6. Check that everything that was quoted and paraphrased is properly cited and accredited to avoid accidental

plagiarism.

7. Do a spelling check.

8. Do a grammar check.
