VentX stretch wrap is a reinforced ventilated film with vent holes to allow air to circulate. Reinforcements in the film
eliminate breakages and improve load containment.
The perfect solution for wrapping products likely to get damaged by ripening gases, humidity, rust, mould or
condensation, as well as products that need to chill or freeze quickly. The ‘breathable’ stretch wrap also reduces the
cooling time for hot-fill foods.

Supplying secure and undamaged loads for distribution is a crucial ingredient in the supply chain.
Utilising ventilated stretch wrap to keep food fresh and undamaged, enables agricultural supplies to last
longer and is essential for keeping our farmers’ precious stock in perfect condition for retail sale. Major
supermarkets have strict guidelines on incoming goods, with incorrectly wrapped pallets often rejected upon delivery.

1. Use smart engineered ventilation.
Regular ventilated pallet wrap acts as an insulation for the

load, as opposed to string or netting, which doesn’t provide
adequate ‘load containment force’. Wrapping pallets with
VentX Unico applies three bands of film through a roping
mechanism, allowing air to flow freely through the load.

Pallet wrap must not have loose, tailing ends or ‘tails/dags’.

Ends must be secured, as they can pose a safety risk and
interfere with automation. Pallet wrapping machines with a
blowing device at the base that blows the film tail upwards at

previous rotation will eliminate these issues.

Pallet wrap must be secured to the top 30-50% of the wooden

Roll lengths — Custom printed tape for manual and machine application. Hand rolls of printed tape are made in 100m

Tape widths — Custom printed packaging tape can be made in various widths including 18mm, 24mm, 36mm, 48mm,

Here are a couple of helpful hints when specifying your requirements.
• Carton dimensions are always expressed in order of length, width and depth. (Depth is also known as height).
• The length is the larger of the two dimensions of the open face (flap opening).
• The width is smaller.
• The depth is always the distance perpendicular to the length and width.
RSC — regular slotted container

RSC is a standard everyday carton. It is the most efficient and effective style
of carton. The outer flaps meet at the centre, on top and bottom surfaces.
FFSC — full flap slotted container

This carton is recommended when a carton is being
opened repeatedly e.g. self storage. It has flaps on one end and the other
end is open allowing for a lid to be placed over the open end.
HSC — half slotted container

A useful container where extra void space is required for padding contents
or protection is needed. Structured to keep items secure and in place
during transit.
FPF — five panel folder

These cartons are used when you have long narrow items. The carton is
a flat board with creases at specific points; it is wrapped around the item
then sealed on all three ends.

Partitions/dividers
Partitions are most common in the bottle and jar industry, providing individual
pockets for the items to be placed into for added protection. This is made of
intersection sheets of board. They can be supplied assembled in the carton or
loose for you to assemble manually.
CR/SL — creased and slotted trays

The creased and slotted cartons are similiar to the HSC cartons, they are cut half
way and the top section fits over the bottom section. These cartons are used
mostly for storage cartons and spare part containers.
DC — die cut boxes

This carton has the ability to be made into many unique designs to suit. It is
specially designed for the purpose of shipping and display. This carton has a very
clean and accurate finish.
CCF — corner cut folder

The CCF carton is manufactured to suit the product of your choise. It is especially
designed as a mailer and perfect for items with a narrow depth.
DC — pads
A single corrugated sheet which can be made to size of your requirement. These
are used as a divider between products to protection. The most common pad is
the pallet sheets that cover the top of the pallet.

Carton tape sealing machines are the key in increasing warehouse productivity and reducing labour costs. Not only
do these machines have efficiency benefits, they reduce the risk of back injury and provide a more reliable and neater
carton sealing solution.
A carton sealing machine can also be integrated into an existing production line to work in conjunction with other
machines such as carton erectors, heat shrink machines and pallet wrappers. These machines are commonly used in
many different industries including food and beverage and other manufacturing, packing and distribution companies.
Carton sealing machines automatically dispense long rolls of packaging tape and apply it to the carton. These
machine tape rolls are available in 1,000m and 2,000m lengths. 2,000m rolls are an excellent way to further increase
productivity as rolls changes are less frequent. We can also custom print machine tape rolls with packing information
or company logos.
