In a burned down village,

A dark huge figure was standing in front of 16 people. All of them had their own weapons armed, mostly
with kunai. No one dared to move, because the figure in front was holding their leader by his neck. They
all had mixed emotions of fear, worry and anger on their faces. Nobody likes being ignored but it’s even
worse when your body itself justifies being ignored.

One of them was brave enough to break the silence and ask the figure with all the courage he could
muster.

“Your excellency! We are ninjas from Konoha! We came here for rescue of the village as soon as we got
the news! We have no ill intentions! Please let our leader go! We can negotiate terms!”

“Rescue?” The figure looked around and all he could see was what seemed to be burned down village. It
could already be seen that it wasn’t much big of a village.

“Is there anything left for you to rescue here?” The figure asked in a calm voice.

Hearing calm voice they could feel a little relieved that the opponent seems to be able of reasoning.

“It was because we got delayed by the ambush set by the attackers. Your excellency, please let go of
captain. He might end up being dead.”

“He dared to attack my liege! You think I’ll let go of him!” The figure got angry instantly as if completely
different person.

‘Did he just say ‘My Liege’? Such strong person? And why would captain do such a thing?’ the ninja at
forefront thought.

“Your excellency, there seems to be a misunderstanding! He wouldn’t do such a thing unless that’s the
case!” He quickly urged, because he could feel the genuine anger from the figure.

“It’s not completely impossible for me to let him go but I have a condition.” The dark figure replied.

Without waiting for the ninja to speak, he continued, “You have to take my liege to your village and
make sure that he isn’t endangered till he becomes strong enough. And also don’t have thoughts of
using him as hostage or any other trickeries!”

“I can’t decide on tha…” Before the ninja could finish his sentence, he frowned.

‘What does it mean? ‘till he’s strong enough’? Someone who can order such a strong person is not
strong enough and needs someone else’s protection?’

“Your excellency, may I know who your liege might be? Village may not agree if he’s old enough to be a
spy.”

“He was just born a few days ago.”

support, the village can develop it’s strength by leaps and bounds. And someone of such strong
background is unlikely to be any less talented than terrifying geniuses he has seen over the years. In any
case, it will be beneficial enough for the village to take on such a risk or atleast so he thought.

“Don’t think I don’t know what you’ll do to him. I will always be keeping an eye on you. If anything
happens to him, you’ll be the first one to die!” The figure spoke with letting go of his huge coercion that
made all of them tremble in fear.

He let go of the Captain in his hand who was already unconscious from the beginning and was about to
leave the scene, but the forefront ninja asked,

“Your excellency, I don’t know your name and where I can find your lord.”

“My liege is inside the house behind me, as for my name, you’re not qualified to know.” The figure left
while saying as if merging into the shadows.

Soon the captain of the ninjas became concious. And was asked about his side of the story.

“I was just looking around when I saw these corpse around here.” He said while pointing at the pile of
corpses that was ignored because of being occupied with fear.

“I became cautious because no normal person could do such a thing. And it seemed like the person
wanted to keep people out of the house. So I was on my guard and decided to investigate. As I got
closer, I could feel being suffocated and sense of fear from that door. I tried to maintain my mind, but I
just couldn’t. In trying to do so, I involuntarily leaked a bit of resentment in my mood. And the next thing
I know was being choked by a dark figure. I can still feel the fear from his eyes!”

Although he was complaining a little, but he could realize what it meant when system said that the body
