RESOLUTION NO. 14
Series of 2020

A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2020 BARANGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN
(BDRRM PLAN) OF BARANGAY MANINGNING, PUERTO PRINCESA CITY.

Whereas, Disaster and emergencies are fundamental reflections of life in which, they are
consequences of the way the society structures themselves, economically and socially, the way
societies and states interact, and the way the relationships between the decision makes are sustained;

Whereas, Republic Act No. 10121, otherwise known as the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction
and Management Act of 2010 was signed into law on May 27, 2010 which amend Presidential Decree
No. 1566 and all other related laws, decrees, executive orders and issuances;

Whereas, the said law mandates the formulation and its implementation of comprehensive and
integrated barangay disaster risk reduction and management plan also known as BDRRM plan in
accordance with the framework as prescribed under RA 10121;

Whereas, the BDRRM plan was formulated in planning-workshop held last year of 2019 and was
consequently approved by the Barangay Development Council;
 Whereas, the 5% BDRRM Fund of CY 2020 was appropriated in the following manner;

NOW THEREFORE, on the motion of Hon. Rael E. Fuertes and unanimously decided by all the
members present, be it;

Resolved that, “A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2020 BARANGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION
AND MANAGEMENT PLAN (BDRRM PLAN) OF BARANGAY MANINGNING, PUERTO PRINCESA
CITY”,hereby approved.

FURTHER, that the copies of this resolution be furnished to the Office of the Office of the
Punong Barangay and other concerned agencies for their information and guidance.
