2. because – so / really
a. because
- “because” được dùng để nối hai mệnh đề trong 1 câu. Mệnh đề bắt đầu bằng “because” trả lời cho câu
hỏi “Why?” (Vì sao), và được dùng để đưa ra lý do cho mệnh đề còn lại.

b. so / really
- “so”, “really” được dùng để làm cho tính từ mang nghĩa mạnh hơn.
 “so”: được dùng trước tính từ, thể hiện sự ngạc nhiên về một điều gì đó nhiều hơn những gì được
kỳ vọng
 “really”: được dùng trước tính từ hoặc một số động từ để làm chúng mang nghĩa mạnh hơn

2. Possessive pronouns (Đại từ sở hữu)


a. Cách dùng

 Đại từ sở hữu được sử dụng thay thế cho danh từ có chứa tính từ sở hữu. (Đại từ sở hữu = Tính từ
sở hữu + Danh từ)
 Đại từ sở hữu được sử dụng để nhấn mạnh sự sở hữu.
 Đại từ sở hữu được sử dụng để tránh lặp từ trong câu.
b. Vị trí của Đại từ sở hữu trong câu
 Đại từ sở hữu làm chủ ngữ
 Đại từ sở hữu làm tân ngữ
 Đại từ sở hữu đứng sau giới từ

- “as + tính từ / trạng từ + as”: được dùng để so sánh những thứ bằng nhau.

Vietnam are quite different. Vietnamese students usually wear uniform. Classes start at 7:00 each
morning and end at 11:15 in the afternoon. Students have a 30-minute break after three periods. At
break time, many students play games. Some go to the canteen and buy something to eat or drink.
Others talk together. Our school year lasts for 9 months, from September to May. Then we have a 3-
