Rationale 1. To enhance and strengthen socialization among the residents
: through working in groups or teams which helps in reducing the
feeling of emptiness or loneliness of an individual.

2. To engage the residents in rehabilitating cognitive function


activities to positively impact and exercise their brains through fun
and engaging games.

3. To help the residents in engaging themselves in a fun environment


since it can further develop positive mindset, increase a higher level
of well-being, and improve mental health.
Objective(s) After 1 hour of doing the activity, the following objectives will be
: achieved:
1. To encourage personal growth and practice positive behavior
throughout the activities by upholding cooperation and
sportsmanship.
2. To foster problem-solving skills, kindness, and teamwork,
allowing healthy relationships with one another and
solidifying friendships and trust.
3. To be able to value social cooperation, empathize with each
other's feelings, and work together more smoothly to reach

Activity Flow The following are the steps that will be followed in the conduct of the
activity
1. The residents will be divided into 5 groups before the game
begins.
2. Two people will be picked from each group to play the Pinoy
Henyo as an ice-breaker. They will be given 2 minutes to
guess the word.
3. Once the answer has been guessed, the whole team will
define the answer in their own way through playing Paint Me
A Picture.
4. Afterward, one of them will explain why they are able to
come up with the picture as a theme.

Rationale This activity will help the patients to reflect on the past present and
: future. Where they have been with their substance abuse, where
they are now, and where they hope to reach in their recovery. This
visual prompt is meant to get clients to engage with the prospect of
making big changes in their lives.

Art is often a nonverbal process. Through art therapy, those in


recovery can explore, understand and resolve issues they may feel
uncomfortable talking in traditional talk sessions. They can safely feel
and process the full range of emotions surrounding their addiction
experience.
Objective(s) 1. The patient will be able to create a therapeutic artwork that
: best reflects their thoughts and ideals.
2. The patient will be able to acknowledge and express their
recovery journey.
3. The patient will be able to discuss their artwork in front of the

NURSING PROGRAM

(1) the first end of the bridge will portray their past of
where they have been/life during substance abuse;
(2) on the center of the bridge they are expected to
draw where they are now (e.g. their emotions, what
they are doing inside the rehab center, what are the
changes they have seen in themselves);
(3) on the other end of the bridge, they are
encouraged to visualize where they hope to reach in
their recovery or after they finish their rehabilitation.
