Introduction: On a sunny morning, a group of dedicated teachers gathered at Dingasan Integrated School, driven by a shared passion for making
a positive impact in the lives of young students and athletes. This report details the charitable activities organized by our team, which included
distributing banana fruits to elementary pupils and providing vegetables to teachers and to the athletes during the provincial meet.
Activity 1: Distribution of Banana Fruits to Elementary Pupils the teachers recognized the importance of promoting healthy eating habits among
young children. With this goal in mind, we arranged for the distribution of banana fruits to the elementary pupils of Dingasan Integrated School.
Bananas, being a nutritious and delicious fruit, were chosen to encourage the children to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
The activity took place in the school elementary department, where the pupils eagerly gathered, their faces beaming with excitement. The SPG
officer, hold with whole bunch of ripe bananas, engaged with the children, sharing information about the benefits of incorporating fruits into
their daily diets. The children's enthusiasm was contagious, and their eagerness to try the bananas was evident as they happily received their
fruit.
Through this initiative, we aimed to instill in the pupils the importance of consuming fruits regularly, emphasizing the positive impact on their
overall well-being. The event not only provided a tasty and nutritious treat but also served as an educational opportunity for the young minds,
fostering awareness of healthy choices.
Activity 2: Provision of Vegetables to the Athletes during the Provincial Meet Supporting the growth and development of young athletes was
another crucial aspect of our charitable endeavors. During the provincial meet, where aspiring athletes from various schools competed, we
organized a provision of vegetables for the participants. Recognizing the significance of balanced nutrition in athletic performance, we strived to
offer wholesome and nourishing food options.
The wide variety of vegetables, ranging from leafy greens to vibrant banana blossoms, and sayote, were carefully selected to provide essential
nutrients and support their physical well-being.
As they received the vegetables, their faces lit up with gratitude. The provision of nutritious food not only fueled their bodies but also served as a
reminder of the community's support and belief in their abilities. Through this act of charity, we aimed to promote the athletes' overall health,
fostering an environment that values their well-being as much as their sporting achievements.
Activity 3. Harvest Mo, Uwi Mo. Teachers and Parents of Dingasan Integrated School harvested organic petchay and sweet white corn to bring
for their family to taste the product of our school garden.
Activity 4. Sharing is Caring. A mother, who was diagnosed with illness came to our school to get some herbal plant to cure her sickness and she
also got some medicinal plant to grow in her backyard.
Conclusion: The charitable activities conducted at Dingasan Integrated School left a lasting impact on all the Dingasan Integrated pupils,
parents, and teachers. By distributing banana fruits to the young students, we encouraged healthier eating habits and fostered awareness of the
importance of nutrition. Similarly, providing vegetables to the athletes during the provincial meet highlighted our commitment to their well-
being, recognizing the crucial role nutrition plays in their performance. To the teachers and staff of our school, who take parting on this program
and activities: Harvest Mo, Uwi Mo and also to the stakeholders of our school, who also benefited to this program: Sharing is Caring.
Through these initiatives, we hope to have inspired the students, parents, teachers, stakeholders and athletes to make mindful choices regarding
their diet and lifestyle. The smiles on their faces and the gratitude expressed were testament to the positive impact our charitable activities had on
their lives. As a team, we remain committed to making a difference in the lives of others, one act of kindness at a time.
RESILIENCY
Dingasan Integrated School had its fair share of ups and down in the different sports activity. Noting that the several of the students
failed to win during the higher meets doesn’t impede the sports program of school. After the event there is a solicitation of feedbacks and
suggestion that could be the basis to improve the performances; and the strengths will be pondered on. After time, the school was able to
produce players for CAVRAA and even Palarong Pambansa.
