A PROJECT PROPOSAL

I.TITLE:

“ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION: INSPIRING HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO GO

GREEN”

II. RATIONALE:

Environmental sustainability involves using natural resources responsibly to ensure their

availability for future generations. This is important because our planet has finite resources,
including land, water, and wildlife, that must be preserved for the long term. Our planet faces big
problems like pollution and climate change. This proposal will help high school students
understand these issues and learn how they can make a difference. This project is all about
getting students excited about protecting the environment and showing them practical ways to do
it.

III. OBJECTIVE/S:

a. Raise awareness about environmental issues, such as climate change, pollution, and
biodiversity loss, among high school students.
b. Provide opportunities for students to learn about sustainable practices and green
technologies through workshops, field trips, and practical demonstrations.
c. Empower students to take action in their schools and communities by implementing eco-
friendly initiatives and projects.
d. Foster a sense of responsibility and commitment to environmental conservation among
participants, inspiring them to become advocates for positive change.

IV. RECIPIENTS:

High school students aged 14-18, educators, and community members interested in
environmental sustainability and conservation efforts.

V. Budget Source:

The budget for this project can be sourced from various avenues, including:

1. Grants from environmental organizations, foundations, and government agencies

supporting youth-led initiatives and environmental education.
2. Corporate sponsorships from companies committed to environmental sustainability and
corporate social responsibility.
3. Fundraising events, community donations, and crowdfunding campaigns.
