This resource will help you set up a plan to run your own Instagram competition.

Firstly, think about the type of competition you want to run. You can encourage people to take a picture with a
specific hashtag around a theme or in your establishment, you can upload a photo where people have to tag a
friend in the comments. Different types of competitions have different results.

Write down the type of competition you want to run and other competition ideas below:

What prize are you willing to give away?

When are you going to run your campaign (think of optional events you can pair your competition with)?

Which channels can you use to make people aware of the competition, and how will you use them? Think of other
media channels (traditional and new media) as well as things you can do inside your establishment.
