Defence Standardisation, Codification and Government


Quality Assurance Authority is responsible for implementation of
NATO standards into the MoD of the Czech Army

ACQUISITION OF AMMUNITION

National Bureau of Armaments is a part of MoD and it


is responsible for the public procurement as well as for
- preparing of armaments concept
- coordination of armaments with NATO and EU

Acquisition of ammunition is provided via


for example NSPA, EDA or domestic suppliers based
on the requirements of troops.

Centre of Ammunition Ensuring of Logistics Agency


of the Czech Army is responsible for:
- Takeover and handover of ammunition
- Storing of ammunition
- Keeping of central evidence and catalogue of ammunition

CONCLUSION

Ammunition has specific position in the Army with regard to its


characteristics. It is an essential component of most weapon systems and
thus determines the combat power of the troops.
However, ammunition does not have to be only a good servant, but it can
be even a bad master, particularly in case of an undesirable initiation.
