B. ACTIVITY: WHO IS A FILIPINO

Instructions: In a separate sheet paste the cut out pictures or illustration from
magazines and newspapers that show what being a Filipino is about.

C. ANALYSIS:
Answer the questions below in relation to what you have posted in the
previous activity and collate your answers in small group.
1. How do the pictures remind you of being a Filipino.
The pictures reminds me of what do Filipino usually do in their daily life,
like for example helping each other when someone is in need and there is the
term that Filipino use, it is the “bayanihan” and being a religious person who
took the word of God seriously, it reminds me that I usually do this things and
it is natural for Filipino to do this because we see it in reality everyday in our
surroundings, that is why we have do/done this things in action without our
awareness because we have been influence by it.
2. How extensive are the effects of being a Filipino in your selfhood?
Maybe about 75%.
F. APPLICATION/ASSESSMENT
Do you believe that your Filipino identity (traits and values) influences how
you perceive and actively engage yourself in political issue/concerns.
Yes I do believe it because our actions shows what environment we grow
up and what influences as to do this things, so anything that we have done it
will reflect/show how extensive our identity as to where we grow up, specially
for me for growing up as a Filipino I do have a lot of things that I consider
before I implement an action so that I will not have any regret’s, just like for
example; faith and religion with the "bayanihan" traits and values. I consider
these things before I implement an action, but truth to be told we cannot
prevent doing things that will make us feel regret because it is natural for all
humans to make mistakes.
