4(Political Self & being a Filipino)

2.Discuss how being a Filipino affects your "self." How can becoming a better Filipino influence your
duty to becoming a better version of yourself?
: Being a Filipino greatly affects myself because not only does the Filipino blood runs in my veins but
how my family who raised me became a part of helping me become a better Filipino. In order for myself
to undergo a development stage wherein my main goal is to become a better version of myself and to
attain that, I must focus on the values and customs that I have learned from my Family and the people
that surrounds me on how to become a good Filipino because by being a Good Filipino, it reflects a
Better version of myself. To be a Good Filipino means to be respectful, resilient, courageous, positive,
heroism, patriotism, hospitality, respectful, resourceful and dedicated and all these good qualities are
what I aimed to be a better version of myself. It’s these qualities that will help me become a better
person because it focuses on the core essence of being a Filipino and I am a pure Filipino who in order
to become a better version of myself must adhere, respect, value and serve the country that I live in.
