PUZZLE – 1
Eight friends P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W are sitting around a
square table in such a way that four of them sit at four
corners of the square while the other four sits in the
middle of each sides. The ones who sit at the four corners
face outside the center and likes fruits while those who sit
in the middle of the sides face inside and like flowers. The
numbers are viz. apple, Lily, Mango, Rose, banana, Orchid,
Marigold and Litchi.
Q likes Marigold. One who likes Lily sits opposite to the
one who likes Rose. T sits second to the right of the one

Maya and Neha appears for four different exams Viz. SBI
PO, IBPS PO, RRB PO and SBI JA, but not necessarily in
the same order. Not more than two students give same
exams. Also, each one of them gives exam on a different
date of the same month, i.e., 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th and
8th, but not necessarily in the same order.

Arati gives exam with Roshni of the SBI PO bank and does
not give on 5th date. Dipa give exam on 1st date and does
not give exam of SBI JA. The student, who gives exam on
3rd date, gives exam of SBI JA. Bela appears with Champa
in the same exam and gives exam on 2nd date. Only Maya
gives exam of IBPS PO. Neha gives same exam as Dipa.
None of the students, who appear for SBI PO and RRB PO,
gives exam on 8th date. Roshni gives exam on 4th date.
