A certain number of persons are living on 10 different floors of a building
such that ground floor is numbered as 1 and so on until the topmost floor is
numbered as 10. There are three flats on each floor. flat- Silver, which has 1
room, flat-Gold which has 2 rooms and flat-Diamond which has3 rooms
from west to east such that flat Gold is west of flat Diamond and east of Flat
Silver. Only one person lives in one flat.
M lives just below Q’s floor but both of them have different number of
rooms. T lives above V. No one lives above the Q’s floor, who lives in the flat
which has an odd numbered room. P lives just above W and just below O. P
lives to the north of W. Three floors gap between U and X. V lives to the
north of X and lives in the same flat as U. No one lives below W. The
numbers of floors gap between S and N is half than the floors gap between
R and S. N lives to the west of P but not live in Gold flat. R lives to the north-
west of T and south-west of U. T lives to the north east of V. Y lives to the
north-west of W and South-east of S but not live on the odd numbered
floor. T lives to the south of M and North of O. U lives just below M and live
in the flat which has twice the number of rooms as that of Q.

Eight members A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are living in the family and going for a wedding ceremony. First all they are
sitting around a circular table facing to the center and take different dishes from starters menu i.e. Kakori kabab, Chilly
chicken, Paneer tikka, Dal tikki, Chicken wings, Veg nuggets, Tangri kabab and Cheese balls but not necessarily in the
same order.
F is the only daughter of A, who takes chicken wings. Only one person sits between A and D’s only son. D has three
children. C takes Dal tikki and sits2nd to the right of A’s wife. C has only two sons. H is the sister of B and takes Tangri
kabab. C is married with F, who sits immediate left of the one who takes Cheese balls. E is the brother of G, who sits
opposite to the one who takes Kakaori kabab. D sits immediate left of B, who takes Kakaori kabab. Immediate
neighbors of D and G are not taking Cheese balls. D doesn’t take Cheese balls. The one who takes Chilly chicken sits
immediate left of the one who takes Veg nuggets and immediate right of H.
After the main course, all they are sitting around a square table for taking desserts in such a way that four persons sit
on each of the four corner of the table and other four persons sit on the middle of each side. The one who sits at the
corner of table faces opposite to center of table and the one who sits at the middle of the sides of table faces towards
the center of table. Persons sitting on opposite sides are exactly opposite to each other. And they take different
deserts from the menu viz. Gulab jamun, Jalebi, Rajbhog, Khurma, Rasmalai, Ghevar, Basundi and Khaja but not
necessarily in the same order.
F sits at one of the corner sides of the table and immediate neighbors of both the ones who take Khurma and
Rasmalai. Only one person sits between G’s brother, who takes Gulab jamun and the one who takes Rasmalai. The
person who sits opposite of H in a circular arrangement sits opposite to F in the square table. Both G and A’s wife sit
diagonally opposite to each other. The person who takes Rasmalai sits immediate to the left of G. A takes Jalebi. H sits
2nd to the left of B. The persons who take Basundi and Rajbhog sit diagonally opposite to each other. G takes Khaja.
The person who takes Basundi sits 2nd to the right of the one who takes Ghevar.

बच्िे हैं। C दाल टटतकी लेिा है और A की पत्िी के दाईं से दस ू रे स्र्ाि पर बैठा है । C के केवल दो पत्र
ु हैं। H, B की बहि
है और टं गर कबाब लेिी है । C का वववाह F के सार् होिा है , िो िीज़ बॉल्स लेिे वाले के ठीक बायें बैठा है । E, G का
िाई है , िो काकोर कबाब लेिे वाले के ववपर ि बैठा है । D, B के ठीक बाएं बैठा है , िो काकोर कबाब लेिा है । D और G
के निकटिम पडोसी िीज़ बॉल्स िह ं लेिे हैं। D िीज़ बॉल्स िह ं लेिा है । िो चिल्ल चिकि लेिा है , वह वेि िगेट्स
लेिे वाले व्यक्ति के ठीक बाएं और H के ठीक दायें बैठा है ।
मेि कोसष के बाद, सिी डेसटष लेिे के भलए एक वगाषकार मेि के िारों ओर इस िरह से बैठे हैं कक िार व्यक्ति मेि के
प्रत्येक कोिों पर बैठे हैं और अन्य िार व्यक्ति प्रत्येक िुिा के मध्य में बैठे हैं। िो मेि के कोिे पर बैठा है वह मेि
के केंद्र के ववपर ि ओर उन्मख ु है और िो मेि की िि ु ा के बीि में बैठा है वह मेि के केंद्र की ओर उन्मख ु है ।
ववपर ि िुिाओं पर बैठे व्यक्ति एक-दस ू रे के बबल्कुल ववपर ि हैं। और वे मेिू से अलग डेिटष िैसे गुलाब िामुि,

F मेि के कोिे की एक िि ु ा पर बैठा है िर्ा खरु मा और रसमलाई लेिे वाले दोिों का निकटिम पडोसी हैं। G का िाई
िो गुलाब िामुि लेिा है और दस ू रा िो रसमलाई लेिा है , उिके बीि केवल एक व्यक्ति बैठा है । वत्त ृ ीय व्यवस्र्ा में िो
व्यक्ति H के ववपर ि बैठा है वह वगाषकार मेि पर F के ववपर ि बैठा है । G और A की पत्िी दोिों एक-दस ू रे के ववकणषि
ववपर ि बैठी हैं। रसमलाई लेिे वाला व्यक्ति G के ठीक बाईं ओर बैठा है । A िलेबी लेिा है । H, B के बाएं से दस ू रे स्र्ाि
पर बैठा है । िो व्यक्ति बासुंद और राििोग लेिे हैं, वे एक-दस ू रे के ववकणषि ववपर ि बैठे हैं। G खािा लेिा है । िो
