सात व्यक्तत - L, M, N, O, P, Q और R एक सात
मंक्िला इमारत में इस प्रकार रहते हैं कक सबसे
निचली मंक्िल की संख्या एक है और सबसे
ऊपर की मंक्िल की संख्या सात है , लेककि
िरूरी िहीं कक इसी क्रम में हों। O, P से तीि
मंक्िल ऊपर रहता है । कम से कम एक व्यक्तत
P के िीचे रहता है । Q, O के ठीक ऊपर रहता है ।
Q और R के मध्य केवल दो व्यक्तत रहते हैं। O
और R के बीच रहिे वाले व्यक्ततयों की संख्या P
और L के बीच रहिे वाले व्यक्ततयों की संख्या के
समाि है । L, M के िीचे ककसी एक मंक्िल पर
रहता है लेककि N के ऊपर रहता है ।
Direction (1-5): Seven persons - L, M, N, O,
P, Q and R live in a seven-storey building
such that the lowermost floor is
numbered as one and the topmost floor is
numbered as seven, but not necessarily in
the same order. O lives three floors above
P. At least one person lives below P. Q lives
immediately above O. Only two persons
live between Q and R. The number of
persons living between O and R is the
same as the number of persons living
between P and L. L lives on one of the
floors below M but lives above N.

आठ व्यक्तत - A, B, C, D, E, F, G और H एक
आठ मंक्िला इमारत में रह रहे हैं, लेककि िरूरी
िहीं कक इसी क्रम में हों। सबसे निचली मंक्िल
की संख्या एक है और सबसे ऊपरी मंक्िल की
संख्या आठ है । D तीसरी मंक्िल के िीचे ककसी
एक मंक्िल पर रहता है । D और F के मध्य केवल
दो व्यक्तत रहते हैं। F के ऊपर रहिे वाले
व्यक्ततयों की संख्या B के िीचे रहिे वाले
व्यक्ततयों की संख्या के समाि है । B और E के
मध्य केवल दो व्यक्तत रहते हैं, िो D के निकट
िहीं रहता है । C, H से दो मंक्िल ऊपर रहता है ,
िो सबसे निचली मंक्िल पर िहीं रहता है । G, A
के ऊपर रहता है ।
Direction (6-10): Eight persons - A, B, C, D, E,
F, G and H are living in an eight storey
building, but not necessarily in the same
order. The lowermost floor is numbered as
one and the topmost floor is numbered as
eight. D lives on one of the floors below third
floor. Only two persons live between D and F.
The number of persons living above F is the
same as the number of persons living below
B. Only two persons live between B and E,
who does not live adjacent to D. C lives two
floors above H, who does not live on the
lowermost floor. G lives above A.

छह व्यक्तत (L, M, N, O, P और Q) एक इमारत के
छह अलग-अलग मंक्िलों पर इस तरह रहते हैं कक
सबसे िीचे की मंक्िल की संख्या 1 है , इसकी ऊपरी
मंक्िल की संख्या 2 है और इसी तरह आगे भी।
उिमें से प्रत्येक के पास अलग-अलग बाइक (Duke,
Pulsar, R15, Splendor, Bullet और Kawasaki) हैं। O P
से तीि मंक्िल ऊपर रहता है और P के पास Bullet
है । O मंक्िल 5 पर िहीं रहता है । N, क्िसके पास
Splendor है , उस व्यक्तत से दो मंक्िल िीचे रहता है
क्िसके पास Kawasaki है । N ि तो O के मंक्िल के
बगल में और ि ही P की मंक्िल के िीचे रहता है ।
M L की मंक्िल के तत्काल ऊपर रहता है । Q के पास
R15 है । Duke वाला व्यक्तत M की मंक्िल के िीचे
रहता है लेककि मंक्िल 1 पर िहीं रहता है ।
Direction (11-15): Six persons (L, M, N, O, P
and Q) live on six different floors of the
building such that bottommost floor is
numbered as 1, floor above it is numbered as 2
and so on. Each of them has different bikes
(Duke, Pulsar, R15, Splendor, Bullet and
Kawasaki).
O lives three floors above P, who has Bullet. O
does not live on floor 5. N, who has Splendor,
lives two floors below the one, who has
Kawasaki. N lives neither adjacent to O’s floor
nor below P’s floor. M lives immediately above
L’s floor. Q has R15. The one, who has Duke,
lives below M’s floor but does not live on floor
1.

आठ व्यक्तत - P, Q, R, S, T, U, V और W दो अलग-
अलग फ्लैटों अर्ाात में रहते हैं। एक चार मंक्िला
इमारत का फ्लैट A और फ्लैट B, लेककि िरूरी िहीं
कक इसी क्रम में हो। फ्लैट A, फ्लैट B के पक्चचम में
है । मंक्िल 2 का फ्लैट ए, मंक्िल 1 के फ्लैट ए के
ठीक ऊपर है िबकक मंक्िल 2 का फ्लैट बी, मंक्िल
1 के फ्लैट बी के ठीक ऊपर है और इसी तरह। V एक
सम संख्या वाली मंक्िल पर रहता है । P, V के ठीक
ऊपर वाले फ्लैट में रहता है । P और S के बीच केवल
एक मंक्िल है । S और Q के बीच केवल दो मंक्िलें हैं,
िहां दोिों एक ही फ्लैट में रहते हैं। R, U के उत्तर-
पक्चचम में रहता है । W, T के ऊपर ककसी एक मंक्िल
पर रहता है । U ि तो V और ि ही S के सार् समाि
मंक्िल पर रहता है ।

and W are living in two different flats viz. Flat A
and Flat B, of a four-storey building, but not
necessarily in the same order. Flat A is to the
west of flat B. The flat A of floor 2 is immediately
above flat A of floor 1 whereas the flat B of floor
2 is immediately above the flat B of floor 1 and
so on. V lives on an even numbered floor. P lives
in the flat immediately above V. Only one floor is
there between P and S. Only two floors are there
between S and Q, where both are living in the
same flat. R lives north-west of U. W lives on one
of the floors above T. U neither lives on the same
floor with V nor S.

2 का फ्लैट P, मंक्िल 1 के फ्लैट P के ठीक ऊपर है
िबकक मंक्िल 2 का फ्लैट Q, मंक्िल 1 के फ्लैट Q
के ठीक ऊपर है और इसी तरह। J, C से दो मंक्िल
ऊपर रहता है , िो F के पक्चचम में रहता है । G, J के
उत्तर-पव
ू ा में रहता है । H और E के बीच केवल दो
मंक्िलें हैं, िहां दोिों एक ही फ्लैट में रहते हैं। E, A के
ठीक ऊपर वाले फ्लैट में रहता है । D, B के ऊपर दो
फ्लैट में रहता है । I, J के सार् ि तो एक ही फ्लैट में
और ि ही एक ही मंक्िल पर रहता है ।
Direction (6-10): Ten persons - A, B, C, D, E, F,
G, H, I and J are living in two different flats viz.
Flat P and Flat Q, of a five-storey building, but
not necessarily in the same order. Flat P is to
the west of flat Q. The flat P of floor 2 is
immediately above the flat P of floor 1
whereas the flat Q of floor 2 is immediately
above the flat Q of floor 1 and so on. J lives
two floors above C, who lives to the west of F.
G lives north-east of J. Only two floors are
there between H and E, where both live in the
same flat. E lives in the flat immediately above
A. D lives two flats above B. I neither live in
the same flat nor on the same floor with J.

Direction (11-15): Eight persons P, Q, R, S, T, U, N, and W are living in two different flats i.e.
flat A and flat B of a four storey building such that the lowermost floor is numbered as 1, the
floor immediately above it is numbered as 2 and so on but not necessarily in the same order.
Flat A is to the west of flat B. All the persons like different fruits namely- Guava, Papaya,
Mango, Apple, Watermelon, Grapes, Banana and orange but not necessarily in the same
order. The one who likes orange lives to the west of the one who likes banana which is liked
by S. There are two floors between the one who likes grapes and Banana. The one who likes
grapes lives in flat B. The one who likes Guava lives two floors above the one who likes
papaya and both are living in the same type of flat as P. Those who like Mango and Papaya
live on the same floor. Only One floor is between N and U, who likes papaya. P lives just
above T’s flat. Both W and Q live in the same type of flats but none of them likes watermelon.
Q does not live on an evennumbered floor.

वह व्यक्तत क्िसे संतरा पसंद है वह केला पसंद करिे
वाले व्यक्तत के पक्चचम में रहता है क्िसे S पसंद
करता है । अंगरू और केला पसंद करिे वाले व्यक्तत के
बीच दो मंक्िलें हैं। वह व्यक्तत क्िसे अंगरू पसंद है
वह फ्लैट बी में रहता है । क्िसे अमरूद पसंद है वह
पपीता पसंद करिे वाले व्यक्तत से दो मंक्िल ऊपर
रहता है और दोिों P के समाि प्रकार के फ्लैट में
रहते हैं। िो लोग आम और पपीता पसंद करते हैं वे
एक ही मंक्िल पर रहते हैं। N और U, क्िसे पपीता
पसंद है , के बीच केवल एक मंक्िल है । P, T के फ्लैट
के ठीक ऊपर रहता है । W और Q दोिों एक ही प्रकार
के फ्लैट में रहते हैं लेककि उिमें से ककसी को भी
तरबिू पसंद िहीं है । Q सम संख्या वाली मंक्िल पर
िहीं रहता है ।
The one who likes orange lives to the west of the
one who likes banana which is liked by S. There
are two floors between the one who likes grapes
and Banana. The one who likes grapes lives in
flat B. The one who likes Guava lives two floors
above the one who likes papaya and both are
living in the same type of flat as P. Those who
like Mango and Papaya live on the same floor.
Only One floor is between N and U, who likes
papaya. P lives just above T’s flat. Both W and Q
live in the same type of flats but none of them
likes watermelon. Q does not live on an
