PUZZLE – 1
There are seven friends i.e. A, B, C, D, E, F and G living in a
seven storey building such that the ground floor is
numbered one and 1st floor is numbered 2 and so on up to
top floor which is numbered 7. They all are using different
brands of mobile such as swift, Alto, Wagon R, XUV,
Ferrari, Audi and Benz, but not necessarily in the same
order.
E is using Audi and stays on odd numbered Floor but
above B. C lives on 3rd numbered Floor. B lives
immediately above A. There are two floors gap between the
persons who uses swift and the one who uses XUV. E does
not use Wagon R and Moto E 4. The one who likes Ferrari
does not live on 1 st Floor. F lives on even number floor
but above 2nd floor and he is not using XUV and Wagon R.
B uses Benz and lives on even number floor. A does not
using XUV and Audi. G is using swift and lives above F on
an odd numbered floor. There are three friends living
between the floor on which G lives and the one who like
Ferrari.

PUZZLE – 2
A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting around a square table
facing the centre in such a way that four of them sit at four
corners while four sit at the middle of each side. Each of
them is a HOD of different departments Mathematics,
Hindi, English, History, Geography, Polity, Science,
Computer (not necessarily in same order).

E is not an immediate neighbour of G. C is not a HOD of

History. HOD of Hindi is not just near to A and D. F sits at

Eight friends i.e. A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H, who live in Delhi,
left for different destinations to enjoy their vacation. The
destinations are – Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad,
Assam, Kerala, Darjeeling and Shimla. They left for these
destinations in different Airlines such as Fly Easy, Indigo,
Go Air, Jet Airways, Air India, Lufthansa, Jet Caps and
Delta Air. The names of the destinations and also those of
the Airlines are not necessarily in the same order as the
names of the persons.

G did not leave for Kerala. One who left for Chennai has
left in Delta Air. F and D left for Mumbai and Assam
respectively. H left for Hyderabad whereas E, who has
neither left in Lufthansa nor in Fly Easy, left for Kolkata. A,
who left for Shimla, has neither travel with Lufthansa nor
Jet Caps. B has left in Go-Air and did not leave for
Hyderabad and Chennai. The person who has left for
Kerala travel with Indigo. One of them, who travel with Air
India, left for Assam, and the person who left for
Hyderabad travel with Jet Airways.

PUZZLE – 4
Eight friends A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H are going to a mall on a
holiday. They are watching a movie and all are sitting in a
straight line facing to north direction. They also bought
different number of dresses from different brand store. The
numbers of dresses are viz. 13, 27, 32, 42, 14, 18, 37 and 47
but not necessarily in the same order.

The person who bought 27 dresses sits at an extreme end.

F sits fourth to the left to the one who bought 37 dresses.

number of dresses which are bought by B and C is equal
to the number of dresses which are bought by H. The

dresses. C sits 3rd to left of A. The person who bought 18
dresses sits 4th to right of D and both are not at the
extreme ends. F bought 32 dresses. C is at extreme left

Eight persons Rohit, Ramesh, Suman, Raman, Prakash,
Shubham, Anshul and Shashank are sitting in a straight
line but not necessarily in the same order such that some
of them face north and some of them face south direction.
The person who sits at the corner of the line faces
opposite direction to each other.
Only one person sits between Ramesh, who faces north
and Suman, who is not an immediate neighbor of
Shashank. Anshul and Raman faces the opposite direction
as Shashank faces. Not more than two persons face the
same direction who are immediate neighbours. Shubham
faces north and second to the right of Prakash who faces
south. Three persons sit between Anshul and Rohit. Only

Eight persons Anu, Apu, Avi, Ani, Ali, Asu, Ashi and Atish
are sitting around a circular table some are facing inside
while others are facing outside (not necessarily in the
same order). All of them were born on different months of
the same year viz. January, February, April, May, June,
July, August and October.

Those who were born in the month having 30 days face

inside. The one who is the youngest faces the one who is
second oldest person. One who was born in August is an
immediate neighbor of the one who was born in February.
Ashi was born in July. Atish sits third to the left of the one
who was born in April. One who was born in January sits
opposite to the one who was born in July. Neither Ali nor
Asu was born in August. Those who were born in the
months having 31 days faces outside except the one who
was born in October. Ali sits third to the left of the one who

7 floors, lowermost is numbered 1 and topmost is
numbered 7 (but not necessarily in the same order.) All of
them like different colors i.e. White, Red, Green, Yellow,
Sky Blue, Pink, and Sea Green, also they belong to
different cities i.e. Delhi, Ranchi, Mumbai, Kolkata,
Hyderabad, Chennai, and Shimla (but not necessarily in
the same order).
Q is not from Chennai but the one who is from Chennai
lives on odd numbered floor. P lives on odd numbered
floor but not on top floor and is from Kolkata. V is from
Mumbai lives on even numbered floor above P but not on
4th floor. The one who likes red is from Ranchi and lives
on odd numbered floor. T lives just above Q and not from
Ranchi. U doesn’t belong to Delhi and Shimla but likes sky

row such that all are facing towards south direction. They
all have different ages viz. 18, 20, 21, 23, 26, 29, 33, 38 and
41 but not necessarily in the same order.

H and B sit adjacent to each other. The one whose age is

33 sits second to the right of the one whose age is 29. J is
not the oldest. The one whose age is 38 sits to the
immediate right of the one whose age is 26 years. More
than four persons sit between the one whose age is 23 and
