snugly inside a
ziplock.

STEP 3
Cover the middle
part with black
construction paper.

STEP 4
Apply a thin coat of
sunscreen/sunblock
in the left most
part.

Guide Questions:
Q1. The newsprint in the fully exposed section of the
newsprint faded more dramatically than the rest.

Q2. This shows that sunlight, especially UV rays affect


the pigments of various objects.

Q3. I realized that we need to protect our skin from


UV rays by using protective clothing or lotions that
block the sun's rays.
