ESSAY: Should I?

Should I become a teacher? That is one of the few questions I remember now when I reminisce
about what my childhood is all about. The first thing I said is that, maybe I can be a good teacher as my
mother. Maybe I will be the one who will continue her supposedly teacher dream. Now that I am in the
situation wherein I know that this will be my future, there is this question that sink in my mind, will I be a
good teacher?

Knowing myself, I love to share everything that I can share especially to the person that has
special connection with me. So when I decided to pursue being a teacher, I know that I will be a teacher
that is willing to share every knowledge that I gain when I am a student. I will do everything just to make
them understand the topic that I will discuss. If you are going to ask me why will I do that? My answer will
be and will always be “because I am a Teacher”. Half of my life, I studied, from good manner and right
conduct to every curriculum of the major I chose which is the Physical Education. I do not want to waste
any of my gained knowledge just to stock it for myself. Those knowledge needs to be shared, that is what a
teacher did just to get their aims and objectives to be successful.

Being an energetic and fun student now, I know that I will carry this until I become Licensed
Professional Teacher. We all know that when a teacher is going with the flow and easy to be with, the class
will be fun, so when I become a teacher, I will be a funny and energetic one. Because, I know that being a
student is not easy, I do not want to be added to their everyday burden and hardship in school. I know that
being a fun and energetic teacher will help them to forget the problems and make them feel comfortable in
my class. However, I know that some students will make disadvantage of me being a funny and easy go
lucky teacher, of course I will set a boundary between us, it is the most important when you become a
teacher, you must know when and where to build a wall between an educator and student.
