VI. OPERATIONS AND MANAGEMENT

a. Organizational Structure

Line organization is the simplest framework for the whole administrative organization.

Line organization approaches the vertical flow of the relationship. In line organization, authority

flows from the top to the bottom. It is also known as the chain of command or scalar principle.

To simply recognize the flow of authority, the company will choose the simplest

organizational structure available. The store manager will be in charge of the organization, and

his or her authority will be passed down to the cashier, salesperson, tailor, and other employees

who play essential roles in the business. The line organization structure is ideal for a business

that is just getting started, as it may assist people in their organization in executing each authority

that has been assigned to them.
